Course Curriculum Overview
I was greatly influenced by my family to become an engineer. I chose the electronics field because of my strong interest in subjects that have real-world applications. There aren't many areas that need improvement, but the use of new machinery and equipment should be encouraged, as many industries still rely on outdated technology.
Internships Opportunities
The internships are eligible for 6th-semester students and have a duration of 4-6 months. There are college campus interviews for internships from companies like ABB, Tata Consultancy Services, and many more. The criteria for the internship are that the student should have at least 80% attendance and a CGPA of more than 7.
Placement Experience
Firstly, the college is well known for its placements. There are good placement opportunities in this college. Students from the 6th semester are sent for internships lasting 4-6 months. After completing their internship, they become eligible for campus placements. Campus interviews are conducted by big companies, offering an average package of 3.65 LPA, with the highest package depending on qualifications. Around 80-90% of students in each class get placed. I also plan to get selected through the campus interview.
Fees and Financial Aid
Basically, there is a semester fee system, so we have to pay per semester. The fee is ₹75,000 per semester, and for students who avail of the bus facility, it is ₹35,000 additionally. Scholarships are available based on the 12th standard score. If the full-year fee is paid in a single settlement, an additional discount of ₹5,000 is provided. The fee structure remains the same, with no fluctuations or changes.
Campus Life
The overall experience on the college campus is great. The main annual event of the college is Resonance, where famous celebrities are invited to perform. This year, the Saman band performed, while last year, Darshan Raval was invited. Additionally, many technical events are held every month. Yes, the accessibility of books and journals is sufficient, as every student is given a library card (a total of three cards per student) to issue books from the library. There are many inter-college sports events and inter-department competitions in sports as well. The best thing is that elections are also held for the President of the Sports Club and the Student President of the college.
Admission
The admission process is simple, with no requirement for an entrance exam, as students are selected based on the cutoff criteria. The application form, fee details, and important dates are available on the college website, providing all necessary information, so there is no need to visit the campus for these purposes. Exams are conducted on a semester basis, once every six months, with two mid-term exams held every two months consecutively. There are no major areas for improvement in the admission process, as it is straightforward and efficient.
Faculty
Yeah the faculty members and the staff all are good and highly qualified to the level of the PHD in their field and one more beta thing is the students who are passed completed there graduation from this college and came in merit are offered a job placement in the college itself to be a faculty member there
