The College takes a regular examination to assess the student, however students who are GPAT qualified are given more preference. Practical laboratories in JSS are of high standards with latest equipment and facilities. Also library is JSS is one among the best. I preferred to join this college in particular due to the infrastructure of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
M. Pharmacy is one such course which focuses on research rather than theoretical and book learning. Course structure is good with theoretical part in 1st year, and entire 2nd year is dedicated to research activities.

Placement Experience
JSS College has been good in placing its students all over the country and to few of them also abroad. Many companies such as Micro labs, Bioclinica, Novartis, Dr. Reddy's laboratories, Novo Nordisk and other pharmaceutical companies come for placements. Most of the students are placed from the college every year. Package ranges from 2.5 to 5.5 lakhs per annum
College Events
Every year the college celebrates National Pharmacy week in the month of NOV-DEC. This week is dedicated to fun, music, dance, art competitions and knowledge sharing sessions. College also frequently conducts national and international seminars on various research topics where the applicants are invited from all over India.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Usually the fee ranges depends upon the number of admission, department in which the student wants to enroll, student academic records and GPAT certification. Regular M.Pharmacy course fees 4 to 6 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not avail any loan facility during my study period at JSS. However i think once can get education loan from Punjab National Bank at JSS. Fess are partially waived for GPAT qualified students.
Campus Life
Campus life is great with regular sports activities, cultural events, seminars, blood donation campaigns, etc. JSS College does not discriminate on basis of race, gender, religion, ethnicity or nationality. People from all parts of world come here for education.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is moderate with good rooms, cupboards and gym. Rooms are on sharing basis, with 2 to 3 students in a single room. Beds and study tables are provided individually. Food is typical south Indian veg food.
Alumni/Alumna
JSS has got good alumini network. JSS management conducts yearly alumni meets and these are helpful to share industry knowledge and experiences.
Exam Structure
Exams are conducted on a quarterly basis with final examination once a year. There is no exams in the 2nd year, however one has to defend his/her thesis work against panel of related professors.
Faculty
Faculty in college are of high standard. Most of the faculties are renowned scientists in their field with many research publications. They are also caring and fun loving.
