Course Curriculum Overview

I am an Information Technology student. My curriculum mostly covers Python, data structures, ai, etc. which will be very helpful and definitely help in real-world applications. But it will be good if my curriculum contains Java.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Fidelity, Citi, Barclays, Fiserv. The stipend ranges from 10k to 75k. Roles are software developer mostly the projects will be based on the company's own interest and purpose But the internship offers will be a good.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students will be eligible for placements. Fidelity, Citi, Barclays, and many more. 95+ is the percentage of students getting placements. From 5th semester students will be eligible for internships.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Our college contains counseling, management, and NRI categories For counseling - 100000. For Management - 200000. For NRI- I am not sure. Campus placements will be super good including internships. And timely scholarships will be provided for merits and others.

Campus Life

Overall the experience is quite good. There wil be many clubs. you can join as per your interest and it will be student friendly. Sports complex and days will be there which are flexible. The library is good.

Hostel Facilities

There will be many types of rooms- Single, Single with ac, Single with ac and bathroom, Shared, Shared ac, Shared ac with bathroom. The meal quality will be quite good For nonveg only chicken and egg For veg, it will be quite good

Hostel Fee: INR 78000 per year

Admission

I am a management student. I applied online. 1st they conducted one online test which will be quite easy and through screening they will be calling for an interview. The selected students will be given admission.

For every 20 students, there will be one mentor. With whom you have to interact and ask your queries. Our teachers are friendly so we can approach them at any time. The teaching will be both in blackboard and PowerPoint.

Remarks:

There's a word outside about VIT that it has so many rules and regulations and they are enforced very strictly but it is not the case. The only thing that is important here is maintaining 75 percentage attendence and not indulge is smoking, drinking or drugs etc and everything will be fine

For the engineering stream, you should have chosen PCM in your high school. The online application portal opens around the month of April/May. You should fill out the form online and you will be given a date for the Enterance exam. If cleared the entrance exam you will be called for an online/offline interview. Within a month admission letter will be sent to students who passed the personal interview. You will be called offline for document verification after a few days.
