my college- the best out of the most

the only concern for my college was that sports are not given priority. there are sports events being conducted but everyone cannot take an active role in it. it is the best college in Andhra Pradesh for those who want to learn the best and concerned of getting a good job.

I completed my diploma and wrote ECET entrance examination which is state level exam for entrance into engineering. i got 111 rank and opted for anits as first option in private college because of the good placement record and best faculty.

the course structure was quite complex and curriculum was a bit old as our college is an affiliation to Andhra University. but now it became autonomous.The duration of the program is 4 academic years consisting of two semesters in each academic year. In the final year there will be a project along with course subjects and internship.

our college does not provide any internship on its own but allows us to go to internships. mostly companies vizag steel plant, dockyard, vizag port, etc., will accept the request for internship by our college.

placements in our college for 2017-18 was very of great response. many companies like infosys, ibm, cognizant, tech mahindra, hyundai, amazon, voonik, deloitte etc came to campus and selected a lot of students. among these infosys, ibm, cognizant, tech mahindra were the major recruits where 90% of students were selected.

there are technical events being conducted every year and every branch will conduct their own events individually and on final day, every branch will combine and celebrate. many students from other colleges visits our college for fests. there are also some good cultural events being conducted at our college.

loan facililty will be offered for those students who are really poor and could not continue their education. inspite of it scholarship is provided for best performers

my campus life was really good. i spent only three years but all those are the best that made me realize what i am. gender ration was impressive as it would be like 100(boys):70(girls). the labs were good. there will be competitions on robotics, debates etc. the only concern was sports are not given priority.

the hostel facility was good and it was sharing rooms. fee structure is 62000 for veg and 66000 for non-veg per year. there will lot of seats in the hostel. also there are lot of private rooms nearby the college. there will different blocks for girls and boys.

the alumni network was strong for our college. many seniors would interact with us when ever necessary and give us better opinions and motivation. I was guided by many seniors in participating in events and also helped me in project.

the Exam structure was quite different compared to most of the colleges in Andhra Pradesh. the exams will be scheduled day by day and will be completed within 1week. The curriculum of BTech program is designed to have a total of about 189 credits of which a student should acquire a minimum of 180 credits to get the degree awarded. If a student earns all the total credits, then the best 180 credits are considered to determine the final CGPA. The lateral entrants shall have a total of about 146 credits of which one should acquire a minimum of 137 credits to get the degree awarded.

after completion of my diploma, I applied for ECET entrance examination. After getting a good rank in ECET, I opted for colleges through web counselling and got admission into ANITS. I joined in the college by submitting the documents and paying the fees.

our college would have the best faculty compared to all other private colleges in Andhra Pradesh. they are selected based on their qualification and interview. most of the faculty teach students with utmost priority and are interested to qualify doubts of every student.
