College days

College management is very poor. I had very bad experience in my college and I didn't refer any of my friends to join this college.

Well known and teachers preferred this college for me. Local famous college. In my school seniors and most of my schoolmates after finished schooling they joined this college only. So my seniors and my teachers adviced to join this pachaiyappa's college so I joined by their advices.

I'm so interested already. In my 12th school marks I had little high marks in computer science so my teacher advice me to join in computer science group. I just applied the same and I got invitation letter from the college to join the same I applied BSc computer science.

There is no internship in my college. Didn't know for other courses but in computer science block there is no internship.

Compare to other colleges placement and job opportunities are very less. In recent days my college had bad name because of some students doing fight with weapons and caught to cops. So there is no companies ready to come for placement in my college.

Every year we do our own culturals in our college. In this event anyone can participate alone or with team. But our principle not allowed to going out for competition or any cultural program to other colleges. Apart from we celebrate pongal festival.

Two types of fee structure. Department wise fee is different. Arts and science department is government aided so their fee is very less for students compared to other colleges. But our computer science department self education so we need to pay 20-30 times higher than compared to government aided students. It's too expensive.

Scholarship they given for entire three years. Each year we getting 3k to 5k. But it's coming from government and it's only for Sc/St caste students. There is no loan facility from the college.

Except sports college didn't have or didnt allowed any activities like robotics and all. In that sports also if you are already proven from your schooling on your preferred sports like Zonal or state level record holders only they have taken for college team. They didn't encourage or teaching a student as a new commer for sports.

Hostel facilities are so poor. Poor old buildings water problem bathroom problem. So dirty smell always. There is no mess. Students going out for food and some students making their own food. Canteen only is there and most of the times its also closed due to students fighting.

College seniors completely useless. After completing college also they continue sly roaming in college and asking money from junios.

Same like 2 semester per year. Total 6 semester for entire 3 years. Normally six month ones we have a semester. And approximately per semester we have six exams including practicals. If any arrears for previous semester we can write that papers along with current semester.

Applied for admission and they sent back a post card for inviting me to join the college. Because of marks only they offered me admission. There is no entrance exam in pachaiyappa's college. Students need to collect the application form from the college. Caste wise mark wise they sent invitation letter to students to join the college who are eligible.

They were so friendly. In initial stage they were little rude because of their lazyness. Later on they become kind after saw our interest to learn. But most of the time they didn't worry to students capacity to learn. Just like that they only read go for teaching. Not explaining to students what is actually.
