Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is decided by Medical council of india MCI. It prepares us for all the real word aspects and problems. Frequently part completion tests are being organized by every department and difficulty is moderate.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

MBBS students do their mandatory internship in sharda hospital for 1 year after the course completion. Stipend is not good enuogh for a reputed college....they give only 8000 per month for internship...

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is 12.7 laksh with 1.5 lakh hostel fee(non AC) 85k miscellaneous fee....every year fee structure changes somewhat you can easily check it on official website of sharda university. No scholarships for medical students

Campus Life

The months of event are not fixed they are held according to university convenience. But we have annual fest every year for sure and it's good. So many books to read from library. Good facilities in classrooms also Sports are not well regarded but it's always the same everywhere.

Hostel Facilities

Attached washroom two seater rooms with enough space and light good view from mandela hostel building. Overall it's a good hostel Food quality is not good....we eat atleast 3 times a week outside sometimes they make good food

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

Good medical ranking in UP private colleges. We have a university campua so there is a good amound of exposure comming from all the aspects of studies. Sharda also conducts it's annual fests which are fun.

Faculty

There is not enough teachers for 250 students batch but they have divided us in different groups of small batches so we get good space to learn and grow. Regular mentor mentee sessions are conducted overall good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is very well reputed course. It makes you a well equipped indian medical graduate helping you aquire required medical skills to work in society as clinician. It really takes into account all the challeneges that one has to face in society as a clinician. The university exams are held on a yearly basis which include both theory and practical exams. The exams are good to pass if one studies daily. The syllabus is vast but with the help of seniors you can easily ace it.

HIMS Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Current MBBS curriculum is purely clinical based and hence clinical postings are crucial. It is mandatory to attend them and strict actions are taken if you fail to do so. This curriculum prepares you for your NEETpg or NExT. Exams held are semester 1,2 and pre professionals and then professional. Timing 3 hours and difficulty level is okay. Mostly questions come from important topics.

Good college for becoming a professional doctor and excellent medical life

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is one of the most respected courses in India so it was always a dream to become a doctor. Faculty is abundant in every department and there are 100 students in every batch with 8-10 faculty members in every department. The faculty in each department is at different position and post on the basis of their qualification and experience. There is one head of department in each department who is the most senior in terms of experience and their year of MBBS batch. Under HOD are two professors and under them two assistant professors. There are 3-4 junior residents in each department. The teaching method varies from professor to professor and some teachers are efficient in terms of their teaching way and helping students understand difficult topics. The course is extremely difficult with lots of stress due to never completing syllabus and diffucult testing exams. The exams are held regularly each month as every topic is completed. Passing in these exams is a bit difficult.

Placement Experience:

After the last sem that's is after 4.5 yrs the students become eligible for placements. We have to do 6 months internship in the hospital of the college. All the students are well paid and all students have good placement. After getting the degree I have a plan to open my own clinic.

Everything about SHARDA MEDICAL COLLEGE (SMSR), NOIDA

My rank wasn't sufficient to get a government medical College. Being a native of North India I considered this college because it is one of the best in North region with great infrastructure and quality education . Also one main factor that one should consider is overall budget of college . The fees of this college is definitely way too higher than government medical colleges but quite comparable and on the lower side when compared to private medical colleges .
