Likes
- They focus on Summer internship program which helps students gain practical experience of the corporate world, they maintain discipline in the college by maintaining certain rules which are same for all.
- The faculties in the IBS Pune campus are great and they are always focusing to teach in the best manner and use their experience while teaching. So Ibs pune provides experiential learning opportunities.
- Extra curricular activities and events conducted by clubs in IBS is one thing I really like about it. There are various clubs in Ibs which help students gain hands on experience in organizing events.
Dislikes
- They are very strict regarding to the formal dress code, specially with boys. This thing can be changed to atleast semi formals in regular wear
- Long Duration of each class. Each class is for 75 minutes.
- Campus of IBS Pune is very small. Also if we get selected in any company we cannot apply further in any company.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum a solid 8.5 out of 10. They focus a lot on soft skills, personal effectiveness management, and business communication which helps a lot to in the job interviews and it helps students to be more confident, be well groomed etc. apart from this they have great faculties for marketing, finance and HR.
Internships Opportunities
The internship at ICFAI business school pune is great. They do everything to get their students placed in sip. The 14 week program helps the students to gain practical experience that is helpful in corporate world.
Placement Experience
Placement of the college is quite decent of 95-96% every year. The Roi according to the fees is quite decent. The average placement is 6-7 lakh rs the Highest placement is of 16-17 lakhs. The international placement package goes upto. 30-35 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
They help you provide financial assistance. The total of the fee is 9,09,000 and the books are included in this. And fir this amount the Roi is pretty decent. There are 5 installments of 1,75,800. You can pay via Rtgs, dd, nift.
Campus Life
The college is very active in extracurricular activities, organizing inter college events, organizing the college fest. I am a part of nucleus the marketing club in IBS. Clubs truly help you to unlock your potential.
Admission
You need to have a bachelor's degree to join this course. Their is an aptitude test at first which is called IBSAT exam. Once you clear this test, they will call you in Hyderabad campus for GD,PI. After the gdpi they evaluate your performance and according to your performance and preferences the campus is given to you.
Faculty
There is a time given to interact with faculty which is 3.00PM-5.00PM. students can discuss their doubts in that period with the faculty. The faculties are kind enough to address the students queries and reply accordingly. Almost all the faculties there are holding a PhD degree and some are holding a Mba degree from reputed institutions. The faculties always keep a smile on their face and try to impart their knowledge to students
Interview Experience
Yes . My topic for GD was social media - boon or bane and some other topics were related to joint or nuclear family, family values , crypto currency etc. written exam was quite easy as compared to CAT. Almost every person who attempted the exam could be able to get through it.
