Course Curriculum Overview

As a government-autonomous college, all facilities are there for which a good environment is created for study. As a student of the Mechanical Engineering department, I'm very glad to have a such facility. The Course curriculum was good and up to date. This is autonomous college, so have their own syallabus.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Placement Experience

After completion of the 6th semester, students are eligible to participate in campus placement. Many companies are coming to our college. The previous year, there are around 60 companies came and placed our students. The average package is 6 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is 27000 around for non-tfw students and 15000 around for tfw students. Many scholarships including both state and national Scholarships. Those who have poor financial conditions study loans are also accepted by the college.

Campus Life

Overall experience is very good as its campus life is awesome. About clubs, there is around 12-15 clubs in our college. NCC and NSS is also here. Student involvement in all these fields is too good. Intercollege & intracollege sports are also also organised in our college.

Hostel Facilities

There are 5 on-campus hostels and 2 off-campus hostels are there. In the on-campus hostel 2 for girls and 3 for boys. Off-campus hostels are for boys only. Girls reside in campus only. The registration process is very easy. When you are admitted to college just fill out a form and the hostel is available for you.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

To be admitted to this college, have to appear JEE Mains or Special OJEE exam. After the examination counselling is done by OJEE. If you are selected for the counselling then a seat allotment letter is given to you. You have to produce the same in the alloted college.

Faculty

Around 100 faculty members are there. All are well qualified. Some of them completed M.Tech from IIT and NITs. Some of them have completed PhDs. Many faculties complete many research papers and journals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Placement Experience:

According to recent placement statistics, the highest package offered at the college is around ?9.2 LPA, while the average package is about ?4–4.5 LPA. In the 2024 placement session, about 682 students were placed out of 803 graduating students, which shows a strong placement performance. The median salary for many programs is around ?6.5 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards wards students are eligible for campus placement.it provides 100% placement guaranteed to the students who were eligible and sit for the placement drive. Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. Overview of PMEC

No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
