When I was in first-second year i literally had no interest in BDS.But when I came in 3rd year tables turned.Once you get clinical exposure ,u are gonna like the course. General surgery and medicine's classes are taken in govt hospital.So together these department postings as well as postings in hospital take your interest to the field.

College provides a 5 year BDS course in which one year is of internship. Pros of doing internship from here is the OPD here and biggest cons is that you are not paid for the work you do.Incase you want to leave in your internship time then u'll have to pay a subtle amount of 75k to the college

Tution fee for govt seat now a days is around 1.5 lacs and that for private seat is about 4 lacs per annum.College provides scholarship programme for ones who arent economically good.College provides a 4 year BDS course+1 yr internship and no stipend is given during internship period and if u are willing to leave the college in internship period then you'll have to pay about 75k to the college for leaving.

Well college functions are not that frequent here.. college focuses more on academics as compared to extra-curricular activities but from last 2 years we are celebrating some events.College holds a big central library where u will get all the books and all the lecture theatres are smart classes.So academically college is good but when it comes about sports or other curricular activities it lags behind

Now a days hostel rent is about 1.5 lacs.Rooms are good with attached washrooms.A three time meal+snacks are provided by the mess but the quality of food is average.Laundry facilities are also provided by the hostel and together laundry and mess charges will cost you around 60-70k per annum.But there's a relaxation in college policy, u can opt for a room outside.Hostels are not mandatory.

Bases on current scenario cut off score for availing a govt seat in HDC Sundernagar is min 450 marks...It fluctuates according to each year's merit.Firstly u need to give NEET-UG and after qualifying the exam you need to fill Himachal Pradesh state counselling for taking admission here

Faculty in Himachal Dental College is good and quite humble. All the teachers here are MDS and holds a great work experience. If u are facing problem anywhere in studies then they personally will help you in clearing all your doubts.College principal is too good and when it comes about academics he helps us in all possible ways.
