Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is approved by a committee and being one of the most prestigious colleges in India it is undoubtedly up to the mark. Lots of practical classes and dissection sessions with plenty of clinical questions being regularly discussed and fun activities along with great hospital exposure prepare us very well for the real world.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internship has to be within AIIMS Nagpur itself and lot of experience is gained by spending time in different departments of the hospital. Stipend is around 30k per month. You have to interact with patients, listen to them carefully and give them a diagnosis just like a real doctor. This also helps to build interaction skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is permanently fixed, never increases and is extremely affordable. The total college fees is 5856 for a duration of 4.5 years which includes tuition along with hostel fees. Stipend is paid during internship. Mess fees are 4300 per month. Normal government scholarships for economically backward are applicable

Campus Life

4.5

Hallucia is the annual cultural fest that happens once a year generally around September and October months but dates are not fixed. Apart from this, all the festivals are celebrated properly with rituals and are super fun. All necessary books are available in the library and can be borrowed for a duration of one week after which they need to be reissued. This process is very easy. Classroom technologies and facilities are top class. Two projectors, great quality microphones and speaker system, powerful air conditioning. Sports tournaments happen regularly and all lots of sports facilities (badminton, TT, basketball, football, cricket, volleyball, foosball, chess) are available. Clubs are present for cultural and sports fields and are active during hallucia. They are developing every year and becoming more and more a part of our lives

Hostel Facilities

5

Great spacious rooms which are very well maintained. Cupboard, matress, study table, bed, ergonomic chair, show rack along with shared bathroom for first years and attached for second onwards are provided. Rooms are double sharing for first year and single after that. Everytyis very well maintained. Mess food is good with four meals a day and regular quality checks. Registration is very straightforward and included in the admission process.

Faculty

3.5

One teacher teaches a class of 125 which is ratio in most all india medical colleges. There are two projector screen and high quality microphones. Class is interactive and doubts can be addresythen and there. Ratio is not a problem, plenty of professors available to approach in case of doubt. Majority of the faculty is from esteemed University and have a lot of accomplishments on their resume. Teaching is upto the mark, most concepts can be understood if you have gone through the book before. Few of the professors are a little difficult to understand.
