- Constant construction which is happening
- Some parts of the campus are not yet properly constructed
Course Curriculum Overview
BCA curriculum under the Bharathiyar University which is being taught in the department is actually very informative as the course is able to cover many domains and is very helpful for such students who are expecting to cover various domains
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Wipro Amazon Infosys etc and all come for the interview and for the internship for the students every single time and projects based on deep learning, machine learning, AI etc are all considered by companies
Placement Experience
According to the information which I have heard, from 5th semester onwards placement get started and companies like Infosys and Wipro have come to our college for placements and after my degree i would like to pursue in cybersecurity filed and get placed in a good company
Fees and Financial Aid
According to the infrastructure of the Computer Science department, I expected the fee per semester to be costly but it's comparatively less with good quality of education and comparing to other colleges as well it's very cheap with good quality of education
Campus Life
We got department inauguration which will happen every year for all the batches of IT department students and there is yearly sports event which involves football, carroms, vollyball and badminton. Our college also has students club such GRD developers club which associates with GDSC and our college library got decent books for proper studies and extra books which can be used for projects
Admission
I personally applied the admission through GRD website and the process was simple and as college started, for students who applied via online had to do some procedure which wasn't hectic at all and even the faculties and the staff were cooperative if there is some delay from our side
Faculty
Being honest, the faculties in the Computer science department is actually very good As the college is in Tamil Nadu they often speak in Tamil but they try to talk in English as much as possible so that other foreign state students could understand
