What Students Say
Likes
- What i liked most about this college is the faculty which is indeed very experienced and hard working.
- The most important thing is clinical exposure which is must for medical professional course. Medicos interact daily with a large number of patients
- Another appreciable thing about this college is seniors. They are always ready to help their juniors with everything. They are like our elder siblings.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure of the college is not very good. The sitting arrangement in the classrooms is also very poor.
- Another bad thing about this professional course is that the clinical exposure starts with 3rd proff onwards.
- The hostels are not enough for students. So students have to pay for pgs which is expensive indeed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The modern curriculum of the course is indeed very interesting. One thing which is needed to be modified is that clinical postings should be started from first proff onwards for good clinical exposure. Effective teaching methods are useful for making positive interactions with students. The timings of the exams are good enough according to difficulty level but i think sessional exams should be added to the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is provided by the college itself. The interns get exposure to opd, trauma centre, wards, ICUs etc. But the amount given to interns is very much less as compared to other courses. The roles offered for internships are of physiotherapists.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee is 20000 which is yearly. The other yearly charges are approx 5000. According to me fee is little bit more according to their infrastructre. Also they do not provide us much placement options. The stipend given in internship is about 10000 only which is very much less as compared to other medical courses. The schlorships are provided only to reserved categories. General students do not get any benefit in terms of the schlorships despite of having good marks. One good thing is that they provide half yearly roadways bus pass to students which is free for girl students and boys have to pay some amount for it.
Campus Life
Overall experience for me is good enough. Yet the infrastructre is not so good but the teaching faculty is fabulous. Various events are organised on the festivals...like holi fest for holi, Ramutsava for Deewali etc. Regular sports are also organised for overall development of students. The library accomodates almost all the books useful for students. You can easily access the books from library after having library card.
