What Students Say
Likes
- While the infrastructure might not be at its best, it's good. The auditorium is fabulous. There's a garden and okayish canteen to chill at.
- Less class strength ensures good interaction and less cacophony.
- Transport or bus facility is provided by the college.
Dislikes
- Faculty is not that great. I am not sure if they are passionate about the subject they teach. They cannot speak English fluently except for few.
- Networking and work exposure is negligible.
- I pay 110000 per year which I don't think is reasonable.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is set by JNTUH, which I would say no one needs in today's world. It is of no help in getting job in the market outside. The exams would be pretty easy as the college is autonomous.
Fees and Financial Aid
Reimbursement is given to the students who have reservations and eligibility. I am not eligible for scholarship and paid 1,10,1000 during admission along with 8000. As of now, there are no hikes in the fees and not in near future.
Campus Life
The infrastructure what one sees from outside is misleading. The interior is not that great. Labs have ACs. There's a basketball, cricket ground and open gymnasium area. A small garden and okayish canteen will make college life less miserable.
Admission
I am a non-local candidate and got a rank of 28000 in tseamcet. I got CSE in the first round. It is not that difficult to get into this college. The entrance exam is pretty easy. People can avail reservation benefits.
Faculty
The faculty lack work experience. Especially for computer science and engineering, the students would definitely need someone with industrial experience. They are not fluent in English except for few. The college has Butterfly Program where they teach emerging technology and aptitude, taught by mentors with experience in that domain. Though they are trying, it's heading nowhere.
