Remarks

If they want, they can achieve good Management, but they don't.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course curriculum is not a very high level, but good. Exams are very easy for a good student. You must have studied all the things before. The courses are very decent but also if you are seeking admission for Bcom, you can get a bonus of Marketing/Banking Diploma Certificate.

Placement Experience

1

Placement is not good. You cannot expect any placement from this college. If you are lucky then you can get placement. The internship is also not there in this college.

College Events

1.5

There are not many events celebrated in this college. and also the management level for that is not good. They took you for some events like camping. You can also participate in inter-college sports competition like Football, cricket, BASKETBALL, VOLLEYBALL, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For b.com & for 1st year, if you are an Indian student(nonmaharashtrian), you have to pay fees about not more than 4000/-. after that for each semester you have to pay about 900/- as exam fees after that you have to buy Journal books in each year for Rs 200 (4 books). and if you are choosing a Diploma then you should pay Rs 200/- fees more.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't opt for any scholarship or any education loan. but I didn't think that there is any kind of educational load facility. Yes, there is of course Scholarship, but it is not good.

Campus Life

1

The Gender ratio is normal co-education. but campus life is not good. the infrastructure is not good at all. The labs are there but they are also not good. One room is for different purposes. and the benches are like the benches of LKGs and UKGs. there are also no extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The hostel fees for the current year (2019) is rs 98000/- including 5000/- as deposit fees. and the fees for Mess is already included in the fees. you can not pay less than 98000/-. and also the timing for a night is you should come back to college before 0930 on weekdays and at 1000 on Sundays. Fees Payment mode: only Demand Draft. My recommendation: don't take the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the senior students are helpful but not all of them. Only a few are helpful. Alumni network is not good. You will try to just get out of this college.

Admission

All the Admission Processes starts in May-End to June. There is No any kind of Entrance test and interview. You just have to pass your 12th Exam and you can be admitted. Admission is on the basis of first cum First Serve basis. You can get admission in half an hour if you have all the documents.

Faculty

1.5

We have to attend Lectures daily. But if you don't want then you may not attend it regularly. they will not punish you very hard or not punish you at all but you have to make some attendance for sure. I mean they must be knowing that you come to college regularly.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
