Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I'm interested in farming sector as the India is a agriculture based country so I choose to take this course The areas of improvement must be to provide good placements, conduct placement drives and provide sufficient internship opportunities . After the graduation it is difficult for us to get any job apart from doing pg,PhD .

Fees and Financial Aid

Our course has the duration of 4 years with 8 semesters ,2 semester for every year ,for each semester we have to pay the fee of 15000 along with the hostel fee which is 8000 .so for the total course including hostel I spent approximately 250000. We don't get any scholar ships or any other financial aids. For ug we dont get any stipends but pg and phd students get stipends.

Campus Life

3

Events and festivals are held very limited for every year they conducted sports day and some limited events . Classrooms are well equipped and with good facilities and the practicals are also conducted with good laboratory facilities. Sports and sports events are conducted very well .we have a very huge play ground and a lot of games are conducted and encouraged to maintain physical health .

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel are maintained neat and with good sanitation and hygiene .for each room 4 students are alloted and with two fans and tubelights with enough washroom facilities Hostel food is average and sometimes it is below average . There won't be any nearby localities for pg hostels for rent as our campus is very far from the town.

Admission

The students of bipc who are qualified Eamcet exam which is conducted by the government of Andhrapradesh are eligible to get admission in this college . I got the admission after securing the cutoff marks from the EAMCET exam , after the counselling I got the seat in this college. For every semester we have one midterm exam and the semester exam and one practical exam . We are very busy with the records ,assignments and exams throught out the entire semester . The difficulty level of the exam is ranging from medium to difficult .

Faculty

2.5

We have appropriate number of faculty for the students. Most of our proffessors are qualified professionals with PhD . Teaching environment is good and some faculty teaches very well and some are average . We have good laboratory facilities and fields for the field works .

Many prefer to pursue higher studies than placements in this course. Many Agriculture related companies are involved in the placement. Placement percentage around 50%. After the degree, I plan to go for MBA in agri business management.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There should be more classes in the practical than in the theory. students are only studying and forgetting because they only study but if they practically learn they will remember so the theory should be reduced and practical should be increased.there should be 20 days for mid exams and nearly 40 days for practice and sem final exams nearly 2 months are only for exams.
