Course Curriculum Overview
As an engineering student how you should start the curriculum is best. In first year you get the basic knowledge of all the other branches. Then from second year you will start the department subjects. There are several subjects like universal human values, environmental studies, economics etc . Which are usefull too . We get different project based subjects in some semester which gives proper practical knowledge too.
Internships Opportunities
You can do internship from second year on you own if you want to . College provides internship in third year you get opportunities to go to different companies for internship of 1-2 months during semester break . I have done two internships during my third year.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester student sit for campus placements. There are lot of companies which come including Microsoft, infosys , tata , mahindra, nutonix , and many more. highest package this year was 40 lpa . I from mechanical and placed in collins aerospace for 5.5 lpa . Almost 100% placements are done .
Fees and Financial Aid
For mechanical engineering it was 2lakhs per annum as tution fee . Now the fees is increased not sure . And u get scholarship based on performance. hostal fees was 83 thousand per year including mess fees.
Campus Life
Everything is fine . You will see good cafeteria where you can chill and also do your .we have 5 floor cafeteria with each floor has different canteens . You can give feedback to if you want to change . Apart from academic block we have garden too where you can sit in fresh air and enjoy . Different social activities are conducted every week by different clubs like singing dancing etc and other cultural activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostal is good for non ac a room of four sharing is given and in ac hostals you have options of three sharing and two sharing too so its ok. In mess you get non veg three days and different varieties. Breakfast is also good . During Ganesh chaturthi and sarasvati pooja we celebrate in hostals . Almost 13 boys hostals are there .
Admission
The addmission process is from two modes.the college has there entrance exam SAAT which is conducted for the addmission. And they take addmission from JEEMain score too.i was selected from JEE score . Yes there are reservation benefits
Faculty
Most of them are highly qualified with phd. have lot of experience in teaching. Since i was from mechanical our department teachers were so good .very much experienced and they used to work with students for several projects.
