What Students Say?
Likes
- The campus itself. The environment is very lush green and soothing.
- The senior-junior culture here is quite different from other colleges, there are no rules for juniors to follow like to call their seniors as sir or mam. Seniors are of helping nature and expect nothing in return.
Dislikes
- The level of teaching is not quite up to the mark here , as the course itself is very basic and this might not be a very good thing in the long run.
- The coding culture is almost dead here or to say , was never here begin with. Like most private colleges, here also everyone aspires to get further education rather than getting placed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here is quite modern. Not the best but still okay'ish. If you want to get placed you will have to put extra efforts into your skill building or else you might lag behind the competition. Best thing and the worst thing about this curriculum is that it's too easy , if you put minimum efforts into it you'll get through all the courses in your semester be it maths or coding related subjects. It is good because this means you have time for your own side hustle and you can build your own skill set in the meantime. The bad part is if you're only dependent on your college for your placements then you Might be in trouble as you will not out class the competition.
Internships Opportunities
There are first of all College level internship, which you're given by the college itself for some extra amount of fee. Other than that you have to apply for off campus internships which you will may be find hard to get.
Placement Experience
BCA does not give you a very strong backing if you're not studying on your own for placements and internships. The placement here is okay'ish but if you fail to get placed then you will have to opt for MCA program or else it will be hard for you to get a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is only 32500 per semester and is quite affordable fir the course you're taking (BCA). In my opinion, this might very well be one of the most economical fee structure for the given course and with good returns on investment. There are scholarships provided by the state government and some college level programs too. There are no in campus employment for the students that I'm aware of.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite satisfactory. Everyone is helpful and looks forward to befriending you. This is the best part about the college life here in my opinion. The infrastructure here is modern as well , there are different artifact's inside the campus to attract your eyes.
Admission
It's a private university so there's no such thing as cutoff for admission. One just have to go to the admission department and enroll in the course of their choice. This is why the level of competition among the students is quite low here .
Faculty
The faculty here aren't all PhD Holders, which is a good thing for a student, since I've felt a PhD holder will try to impose their ideas on to yourself in any given topic . They mostly try to include their PhD subject into everything they teach. On the other hand , faculty here is quite knowledgeable and helpful too. The methods of teaching they use is quite orthodox but it still works well for the students and most of the time the lectures are enough for a student to pass a subject with no additional efforts.
