this is only boys college no no girls can take admission in it.

Since Childhood, I wanted to go into the field of Information Technology, So I selected the Bachelor Of Computer Application course from this college. The student Ratio of this college is very good. Here the teachers read on the screen and the teachers here are very experienced. that is yearly based on exams and it is not very difficult to pass.

My Experience at college

Likes

I like the overall campus environment and the friendly atmosphere of the college. The faculty members and supportive and explain the subjects well. There are also different activities and events where students can participate and interact with others
The infrastructure and basic facilities are good. I also like that the course provides opportunities to learn technical skills and prepare for placements.s

Dislikes

The college experience is good overall, but some areas need improvement. Placement opportunities could be better and more companies should be invited for campus recruitment.
Practical learning and industry-oriented training can also be increased. Sometimes administrative work takes more time than expected.
The infrastructure is decent, but some facilities could be improved and maintained better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course as good and useful .I chose BCA because it has key areas like coding,data,web work and other IT skills.The course gives a good base for jobs and also helps students who want to study more. The course can be better with more lab work,live tasks and job based skills.Teachers can use more real life cases and demos in class. There are tests and final exams each term.The exam level is fair and can be managed with good study.

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

Likes

i think as we studied and learned how we should repect others without any boundaries
the smart classrooms were great and had good sleek design making it refresshing
the college required discipline and puncutuality which helped in our life

Dislikes

the washroom of boys were not good and clean and were small and not proper outlets were there
the campus was so small compared as we couldn't explore them
the college didn't had dedicated parking and we had to buy parking pass every month

the curriculum was mix of both outdated and updated somethings the curriculum need to be updated according to today's world it will help in beginner level. Add latest subjects for students to learn.teaching method could be improved with practical knowledge and learning them how things are done. the exam are conducted semester wise and CCE are taken according to teachers when they want

Easy for those who are preparing for other competitive exams

Remarks:

Good thing is if you're preparing for some competitive exam along with your degree this is the best choice since there is no attendance problem. You can join any coaching class a/c to your timingsYou just need to come to the college at the time of practicals, midsems and endsems. Good or bad that is it. But if you're a very concept oriented towards your UG/PG you'll regret taking admission in this college for a longer time.There are no placements provided, no internship offers. Just that rushy job fair that more looks like a city fair where anybody can come and sit at any company's cell at register themselves even boys.

Excellent College - Best for Commerce students

Hamidia College is a Government College. And admission process is done on the basis of percentage. As an applicant, the student has to apply from E-pravesh portal and 3-4 rounds are conducted. There are eligibility criteria of scoring a minimum of 60% marks in the graduation and to find the application form we have to apply from MP online and fill for the counseling round there are 6 counseling rounds the is a huge number of seats for reserved casts total of 1200 seats after the counseling, we have to verify our documents offline that process was so tough and management is so poor....Read More

I had applied for 3 colleges - 1. Bhel College Bhopal 2. Hamidia College , Bhopal 3. Exellence College , Bhopal In Exellence college when i applied all the seats were already filled , so i have to give up that , many of my friends suggested me to not to get admission in Bhel and it was far away from my house , so thats why i got Hamidia College at last. No , not really , i belong to general category so i think that was only my quota. The minimum percentage to apply in the Round - 1 of admissions was 85% , as i got 93% , it was very easy for me to apply. I got in a internet cafe with all the documents and did all the registeration process , after some days i got admission in Hamidia College , there i paid some admission fees and showed some more documents , then i was granted a confirmed seat in the college. It's a government college affiliated to Barkatullah University Bhopal, and I will prefer you this college only if you want some extra time for any other kind of preparation, it doesn't gives you a lot of burden.
