Education Discipline and curriculum activity

Our college have disciplined and have experienced faculty.But something staff talks very rudely with students.Their behaviour effect the expectations of the students.

Course has 6 semester in which they conduct exams in each semester.With theory exams they also conduct practical exams for computer knowledge. As I worked for sometime in IT company,Now I'm getting that in my college they focussed more on theory subjects but in reality practical knowledge is essential in IT sectors.So they should focus more on Practical skills.

Our college has limited placement opportunities.As some private banks and organistaions came but very rare. But they have links with other institutions.So when any company came to any institution and if other colleges were also eligible to participate then our teacher inform us about that college and company which came to hire and also they arranged the transport so that students could not face any problem to reach out the place. Our college has placement cell which prepared students to face the placements In my time and in my course,I have attended many placements like Wipro,Infosys,Total market co,Concentrix etc The procedure were common in that. They first conduct online aptitude test which consist English Math and reasoning of basic level.Those who cleared that would appear in Personal interview.So this is a 2 stage process.

Our college celebrate vasant utsav and cultural events. In this event all the srudents gathered in auditorium where many performances took place like singing,dancing,mimicry,bhangra. The crowd was great.Sometimes It was difficult to handle that much crowd of students.In the end they also gave prizes to winners.

In my course there is a fee structure which is a 3 time payment once in a year.They accept cash deposit and also online payment.Our college has full transparency in fees.They gave the receipt which includes every charge. In my course of three years I paid 6700 Rs in 1st year,I paid 5500 Rs in 2nd year and 5400 in 3rd yaar.

I HAVE NOT OPTED FOR ANY SCHOLARSHIP BUT YES I WORKED IN A SCHEME OF OUR COLLEGE "EARN WHILE you LEARN"by which I earned 5200 Rs. Yes our college has scholarship oppotunity for Sc and Obc category.Sc received 14 thousand annualy and Obc received 8 thousand annualy. Eligible criteria for that is - -They should have Caste certificate -They have to produce Income Certificate. -DOMICILE process for scholarship is that they have to apply offline and after that there is a document verification conducted by college in which students have to submit the document I mentioned above as fir eligibility.

Campus life is good.For gender ratio I can say 70 boys per 100 girls.Our college is very strict against gender discrimination.they never tolerate discrimination for religion and colour.They consider students by their capability not by their colour or religion. there were many events organised by our college.There is a science exhibition on national science day in which students show their skills in technology.There is also a Special guest which came to inaugurate the exhibition. Many events like Tree plantation,Blood donation camps were organised by nss group of our college. There were also sports opportunities.they conduct matches between students in various games,those who perform well get chance to play and represent our college in higher level.

Yes we discussed a lot with our seniors.They gave their best wishes and apart from that they also taught us about the palcements and warned us not to repeat the mistakes which they did in their studies.

I applied online by filling admission form and then there is a document verification in that we had to produce document of 10th and 12th There was a School character certificate which was also must.After that,On the basis of 10th and 12th marks they printed the merit list of selected candidates for admission and luckily I was one of them. Admission process consist of filling online form,document verification,publish of merit list,payment of semester fees and Receiving Roll no. For applying there is duration of 1month in which we can apply.After that few weeks later they conduct document verification.After 1 week of that,they published merit list.Those who got name in list have to submit the fees online or offline within 1 week. I choose this institution as it is a govt college So fees were convenient.Apart from that the faculty in govt colleges are permanent So we got chance to study under experienced faculty. There were also many schemes launched by Government for govt college students to support them paying there fees.Like Scholarships and other schemes.Like I worked in a scheme "EARN WHILE YOU LEARN".In which we engaged in some basic college works and for that we were paid some money.And this institution also near to my ho me So Tranaportation cost was low for me. I opt for this course(BCA)as I have great interest in computer line.I want to become a software engineer.

Faculty was good.there were approx 10 teachers in our computer dept.there average age was nearly 35years. there qualification was like m.ed,some also did msc and some did phd also.Our HOD did phd and most or the others were Msc. they gave good lectures which were industry oriented.Apart from the subject they also gave us details how work really happened in computer sector.
