4 Years in Makhanlal Chaturvedi Bhopal

I was pursuing BCA from Makhanlal chaturvedi national university and I realised the the syllabus is quite interesting and updated which includes all the latest technologies and frameworks, also the fourth year includes the specialisation in machine learning.

Placement part is not that much interesting as the college have 8 departments including computer science, APR, Mass com etc but most of them are related to the journalism so there are many placement opportunities for those students but there is no placement opportunities for computer science students.

scholarships or financial aid that are available for students: Mukhyamantri medhavi vidhyarthi scholarship, MPTASS scholarship for st, school, obc, and a scholarship for general category with bpl(below poverty line) card.

The best social activity of our college is Farewell and fresher party as all the departments collaborates and gathered together in the hall, which is like a cinema hall. Also the 26th Jan, 15 Aug, Janmashtami, ganesh chaturthi and all the festivals are the most interesting time of the college.

I was living 15km away from the college as the college hostel is expensive and the availability of room near college is very less as the nearest villages is 2km far also the prices are little higher there in that area.

I had applied for many colleges including Delhi University but no one was offering BCA without maths in 10th-12th so I decided to choose makhanlal as I got addmission there without having maths in 12th also the syllabus is much better then other colleges

There are 2 semesters in a year having three internal test in one semester out of which two best will be selected to be added in semester result and the main part is semester examination which is held twice a year means every semester. Also the viva and practicals and the assignment has a small contribution to the result.

As my college is located in a village type area so there is nothing nearby so the students living in the hostel are not allowed to go out after 10PM, but the day time is good as there are many places nearby, which includes mostly forest adventures and water bodies, also too many movie shooting were there.
