JEE is the exam which we need to appear on the basis of this exam you get All india rank and on the basis of rank 3 rounds of counseling are there and they allow you the college on the basis of rank.

There are total of 6 subjects in every sem in which 4 core subjects are same in every sem which are Front office housekeeping Food and beverage service and food production. Which includes both theory and practical. Practicals are held in good and fully furnished labs.

There is a compulsory industrial training in 2nd year for 4 months in 5 star hotel avg stipend is 2000 INR.

This year there where 140 students who appeared in placements and 100% placement was given. Leading companies like oberois ITC Mcdonalds Hyatt etc came for campus interviews. even Quick selling restaurants like dominos chaayos come for placement which offer management trainee positions.

IHM gurdaspur is a secular college in which students and faculty members are like family. In ihm gurdaspur all the events are celebrated from navratri to christmas Ganesh puja independance day . The main event of ihm gurdaspur is GAME which is gurdaspur annual meet of events which is celebrated whole year and includes sports and games.

Fee structure is very moderate avg fees of every semester is 38000 and fir hostel including food it is 15000. Which you have to pay at the start of the semester. This fee includes every thing like examination fees etc. So student don't have to pay anything extra for studies.

Scholarships are given to bright students. Every sem college give scholarship to good at academics students. Loan facility is not available at college but the banks loans are accepted

There is no student politics kind of thing in IHM gurdaspur. But college do have 4 different houses in which students are distributed to take part in sports and activities which happen throughout the year. Anti ragging committie is there so there are 0% ragging cases in the college there is no discimination on the basis or race and religion.

Hostels are average as being a govt hostel facilities are good. There is sharing base hostel on 3 sharing basis mess is also there in which rotation menu is followed. Once a week egg preparation is served and once a week non veg item is served along with seperate veg counter.

Senior students are really helpful as they help juniors with academics. They help them with their training to find good hotels to do training with.alumni students. are in touch with the juniors who share their industrial experiences which is helpful to students.

There is 1 mid sem exam and final exams which can easily tackled as the exams are in morning time. And practical exams are also there.the exam days are most chilled out days as most of the students are not localities so in hostel all share their knowledge and study together.

After JEE rank i was alloted the college where at the time of counseling i had to give documents like marksheets school leaving certificate bank passbook adhar card. The counseling is done by senior students so that they can learn management and as they know the whole process they can help new students

The faculty of IHM gurdaspur are one of the best faculties. The college is famous for its faculty and infrastructure. The teachers are freindly the help students with extra knowledge through assignments practical. There are even groups in the college for different department students handled by faculty members.
