Food technology is branch which studies about food processing ,safety,shelflife and many more it's all about food and those who are interested in food can defenetly take this into importance.Most of the people thinks food technology as making food but it's not this is all about processing and manufacturing good products .we have good faculties and syllabus and exams are often conducted also we have medium difficulty level

Placements are given by the college.Around 40 percent of students get placed by college according to their skills and after gaining experience they can even move to other companies.The course food technology has many job opportunities around the world as food is a basic need of human.Food technology also has job opportunities in government scetor

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee can be hiked yearly for new admission students and B.tech food technology has complete cost around 3 to 4 lakhs including all service and other charges. Central government scholarship and state government scholarship is available.College provide internship opportunities for students

Campus Life

College conducts programmes for students to improve their skills and find their talents .There are many programmes including concerts and hostel days in college .We have a very good library for reference and reading.classrooms are also eco friendly and have good atmosphere . Atmosphere inside college is the best and infrastructure also has a 10 on 10.Also we can involve in many clubs as per our talents

Admission

Admission process is through higher secondary examination Mark and for other state students also there is fee concession based on marks. There reservation for students and Students can also take direct admission if they have no high percentage in higher secondary examination

Faculty

There are enough faculties for required student strength and faculties are friendly and also strict in matters .There are professors and assistant professors available in tha institution and according to me some of the first year faculties are very friendly towards students

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
