Mechanical engineering design power producing machines such as electric generator internal combustion engines and steam and gas turbine and more then about it. We choose this course because this types of branch are relevant to every field if you have skills then you try for information technology sector in other hand you we progress in your field

College provides many internships. But on students choice they can apply out of the college . Like mining departments they do internships in mining companies, coal mines ,zinc mines etc. Company HR gave project on real life situation

So for placement, company release a notification for students who want to place these company. If company's demand students should over the 8 CGPA then those will qualify who has 8 and above . The highest package of college is 17 lpa.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

You should choose MBM or not ?

I also applied for jecrc foundation in jaipur , and i got CS+Ai there , but then in next round i got mbm electrical . I choose this college over jecrc because that was a private college and mbm is government . And also the fees in jecrc is twice as compare to mbm . And i want to have a option of gogvernment field also so electrical will be much better option . I wanted to go to NIT but i didn't get that much good score in jee ,so i was left with this state college option only . The admission proccees is quite simple , you have to apply to reep counselling , and then you have to do reporting in this college with required documents as mentioned on reep site . 91 percentile is required in jee to get electrical branch in mbm for a general ews student...Read More
