Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

Curriculum in MBBS is usually strict and full of workload and time but good colleges do provides holidays and programms for the stress relief of students and even the residents who are working regularly in the opds and hospital. But inspite of all these above our college is such a backward in this case. No order of curriculum, no proper schedules. Schedule of exams are decided to held just after any festival or holiday in order to exploit students holidays. Only 7 days of official holiday is provided by college for summers in whole freaking year less than any college ranking this high in country... Any student from other states just can't make chaoice rather than taking absent leaves and then covering them. Even exams on festivals like Diwali making it worse.. This increases a lot of pressure on students, making them mentally stressed causing a toxiz environment in college life...

Internships Opportunities

4.5

As the MBBS course itself consist of 1 year internship, college provides in year internship currently at stipend of ?19000 per month But will change from the next session and generally is changes every 3-4 terms(annual).

Fees and Financial Aid

One of lowest and affordable fee structure. Not aware of any increase in tution fee Total cost for MBBS per year is ?29,010 including Tution fees, Hostel, library etc... (Mess fees is excluded) There is only scholarship for the State quota students provided by the college not for AIQ seats.

Campus Life

4

As explained previously, college is generally off on the views of helding any festivals. An annual festival is held name EUCRASIA which is good and awesome among this hectic professional life... Sports week and Tournaments within the college are held which are decided by the Alumini or decided on basis of exam schedules... Though there are various groups like music, dance, drama, Theater ???? and all the clubs are very friendly and for everyone thus anyone can follow their hobbies or passion... Classrooms are good as told before... Campus is though very big of about 130 acres, consisting of big central ground though poorly developed. New Hostels and hospital building is being constructed thus campus is like to be messy nowadays for some time but its good that new infrastructure is being developed though it may take a year for proper functioning of the hostels.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are but messy and congested because we are alloted old hostels with very bad buildings. But as the new infrastructure is being developed, the new hostel are good but under construction and may take end of this year to be properly functional.. Hostel is in the campus in the centre of the city thus PG are available all around.

Admission

The only way to get elligible in any medical college currently is NEET(National Examination cum Entrance Test) conducted by NTA. Cut off generally helds aroung rank between AIR 4500-5000 for general category in All India Quota.

Faculty

2

All Faculties and well qualified and experienced. You can't interact with teacher in lectures but there is very good interaction with teacher during practical which is also very important. 1 professor and 2-3 residents are appointed for a batch of 84 students to be precise which is good for healthy and good interaction... Most of professors due to their post or ego can't really focus on their teaching but just looks for flaws and maintenance in their own comfortableness. It usually makes student life stressful and awfull thus students usually shift on mind for completing attendence only and losses whole intrest in college and lectures. Though practical sometimes are bit of joy only if good residents are present to prevent it from spoiling...
