Course Curriculum Overview
Every 6 monthly there is an OSCE which I is very helpful to review your clinical and theory knowledge. For MD psychiatry there is one final exam at the end of 3 year involving 4 theory paper and a practical exam. Practical exam has one major case and two minor case, one of which is from child and adolescent population. One case is with neuropsychiatry.

College Events
One annual function, sports day, cultural day etc annual function is really grand. They also call some celebrity. Navratri function last for 9 days and include great music system. In Psychiatry department there are also academic days celebration are there. Like, schizophrenia day, WHO day etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
Admission is through the entrance exam. No donation fees. A women have to pay 93 rupees for a year as a course fee and a man has to pay 3000 rs for the same. As a government college, a candidate has to make a bond of 10 Laks as per rules by govt of Gujarat for post graduation.

Campus is really good, safe and green. 4-5 mesh are there. Ice cream corner is also there. Parking area is available. Hostels are Inthe campus, so no need to travel unnecessarily. There are may extracurricular activities like best out of waste, sports day, GMC premier League for cricket etc.

Admission
After getting rank in NEET for post graduation. After that counselling has been done and a person can choose the branch of their choice. There is no donation sheet. So if you get the good rank as per your cast category- general or OBC or SC/ ST, a person can get seat accordingly.
Faculty
Head of the department of psychiatry, GMC,Surat is one of the best psychiatrist in India. She always gives student a chance to learn and evolve over the period of 3 f three years. All othe faculties like associate professor and assistant professor are also good and knowledgeable. Discussions are healthy and insightful.
