So i chose this course because i wanted to become a plant doctor, i wanted to become a mbbs but couldn't crack neet so i chose to study about plant diseases and cure them. Well the curriculum they offer inspires us to participate in the real world. Basically its like you can get the academic knowledge and real life experience about the plants and all The teaching methods often happens in class room. Sometimes we study about plant while sitting in garden . Its east to have connection while studying like that The timing of exams are good. They teach for 4 months and we prepare for exam and give it

I am not sure about the placement right now but college is near Chennai so if you study well you can get nice jobs in some companies in Chennai . Its all about you study and try for interviews and jobs . Placements available for few departments i guess . I just wanted to be honest so i will say i am sure if they conduct there but as i said its easy to get jobs since its near Chennai. We have to try its all about it

The tution fee is quite low comparing with other colleges since its a government college. I have paid around 3k for a whole year. Its good comparing with other private colleges. Because studying biotechnology in private costs more . But in our college you can study with low affordable money. The hostel is available for both genders. Its near the college and the hostel is completely free . You don't have to pay for hostel fees . It is running by government and its a good place to stay. Nice infrastructure too They provide lotta scholarships including sc st scholarship bc students scholarship. Single girl child scholarship, sports scholarship etc. If youre a first graduate. You get first graduate scholarship too. Its a government autonomous college so all the scholarship programs are conducting with care here.

Well the campus us quite good. Its surrounded by trees and green plants. The sports is popular in the college. They give more important to sports and inspire us to take part in competitions . They give scholarship for games too . Ncc and other also present and is very famous in college. The annual festival celebration starts with pongal celebration. Each and every department has their own celebrations and we celebrate it wearing traditional wears. We don't have much celebration in college. We have got culturals and all. Oh and there's a day called department days when every department participate in some games or any other activities and earn prize. They take us to presidency or other colleges for competitions . It gives us experience boldness to face the situation and all. It teaches us about team work and how to participate as an individual. Its giving opportunity to everyone. Its all about how we use the opportunity and utilise the sources that's available ro gain knowledge from it

Hostel is available for both boys and girls. Its situated near the college so basically its outside. Its a welfare hostel its a ADW government hostel. But i will tell you it doesn't look like a government hostel. Hostel is completely free and you don't have to pay for fee. Government gives you money for staying. They pay 1.5k for a year and also other facilities are available. In hostel they have water purifier and burner for girls . A big tv for education purpose. It does look good the infrastructure is better and its like a good private hostel. Government hospital is behind the hostel and also court, police station are near. Lotta shops near the area so we don't have to walk or go anywhere to buy stuffs. If youre from long distance its definitely ok to get hostel. We can go anywhere but have to come hostel before 6 pm or 7 pm . Its must . Its a law. Its for the safety but if you stay in boys hostel there's no time restriction.

There's no entrance exam,you can simply enroll using your 12th marks . Admission happens depending upon the marks you scored. Reservation is available . Admission is available in tngasa.com website and also in college directly . I am from Tirunelveli. I applied through online. And while the counseling they called me and told me i am eligible for the course so i joined. Counseling happens using the marks you obtained in your higher studies. Eg . 12 th board. Maximum anyone can get seats here because they're giving opportunity to every students who wants to study. There's sports quota and ncc , nss and all . If you are a holder in any of that it will be much easier for you to get an admission but apart from that getting an admission is quite easy here comparing with other colleges. So yeah its just trying and waiting. Dont have to wait for long because they'll provide the details soon so its like a good thing in my opinion

So basically the interaction between the faculty and student rate is high. We can approach them whenever we want to. And they will explain anything and motivate us to learn more. They're friendly and experienced doctorate certified faculties. There's much more to learn there! There are only few students in the class so its easy to interact with the teachers . They help us pursue our interest and bring our talents out. All we have to do is follow their instructions and apply it in real life . Discipline is important and they play a major role in disciplining students
