Course Curriculum Overview

3

The base curriculum is well planned but also stands at a very basic level, the focus is more on certain things for a very long time which for some doesn't help with the quality of work, apart from that since the college is affiliated with Jain the courses are not so well planned with too much focus given on unnecessary subjects.

Internships Opportunities

4

The companies that the college has tied up with is Tata, Dailmer, Foley Designs, Harman and Decathlon. The roles offered are mostly of design interns, creative intern, 3D modeler etc. The students have to work on a theises project with the college that leads to a display of their projects and hiring.

Placement Experience

4

The placements take place at the end of bsc and MSC, it happens over a span of week where students have to show case their work done for given time period, based on their work different various firms will consider hiring them on their team. The companies visiting are Tata, Harman, foley designs, Daimler, hai etc. The highest package offered is 24lakh pa, and almost 100% students get placed. My plans after getting the degree is joining a firm and getting experience and then pursuing masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's no bike in tution fees seen as now, comparetively it has gone done since the college started in 2017, the complete cost for bsc come to 19.8 lakhs, exclusive of hostel and exams fees, for MSC its 8.6 per year. The college also provides many scholarship which includes girl child, merit based and ilead scholarship which is a tution fee waiver for one year, it's awarded on project baises, getting loan is a hard task since college is deemed to be an university. Ts.

Campus Life

4

There's a cultural event held during the month Nov called the escape, it's like an annual event for the college and his held grandly. Apart from that the college is keen to celebrate every festival profoundly. The college does not consist of a Library. The technological provisions and facilities in the classroom are enough and up to your expectations. The college also holds sports events and has football ground and a table tennis table. They also have a student council which deals with problems and manages all such kinds of events

Admission

The admission process is quite simple compared to other colleges, it's not much of work, all it needs you do is make a portfolio of all your work and data about you. After this you have to go through an entrance exam called the SAT and is quite easy to crack, the exam pattern is bit different compared to other competive exams, the frequency of exam is also very well maintained and take place over slots alloted for three months, can be attended online and offline as well. All the required data is available on their college website and the forms will be available to you on the site itself.

Faculty

3.5

The student to faculty ratio is poor and there's lots of pressure put on one single faculty which leads to work overload and no proper management of classes, the faculty is well experienced and qualified for their job, at times their teaching methods are not followed by everyone. Their really approachable and are ready to help you out anytime,

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

• Only the last semester students are eligible for campus placements if any approach us. • No companies visit our campus of Interiors till I've seen. • You get a list of companies with openings from the college and you can apply on the same. • As mentioned when the college holds a program for the final years companies might choose you there based on your work.

Remarks:

Positive remarks: • The senior, junior, classmates are very helpful and cooperative. • The professors are also very helpful and concerned about our studies. Negative remarks: The authority is not so helpful. They take many steps against the students' sake and this is the main cause for decreasing the college's overall performance.
