- Now they have cut down the trees for building new academic block..in my opinion that trees brought the homely feel to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course only relies 30 percent in the theroretical side and the remaining 70 percent is of practical side.By this way you get total of 2 years in the OT.Thats a great advantage.This will help you to write the practical based questions and out of syllabus questions handle perfectly.The question paper always include every subject regardless of the exam subject.Thats how DME makes the question paper.
Internships Opportunities
For the DOTAT course the college will provide a 6 month internship in the hospital.You have to do the internship in the parent hospital.There will be no salary for the interns.I think that fact as a drawback.You will get the completion certificate of your course only after completing 6 month internship.You have work in OT for 9 hours everyday.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee for DOTAT course was 50k as donation and 80k per year.but it provide scholarship for the students and provide placement in their own hospital.And you will get the caution deposit after the completion
Campus Life
There is always time for fun and programmes.College never disappoints in that thing.There is always exhibitions of different departments,quiz competitions,poster competitions in collaboration with different colleges and associations.NSS club is there and a student welfare association is there.
Admission
You can apply to this course after passing 12th (science stream).It is completely a private course so there is noentrance exam or online application.You can directly contact the collegefor information regarding tge admission procedure.It does provide a 6 month internship without salary and u should have to do it on their own hospital.
Faculty
The faculty members are always there to help you.Even after college hours,in this modern world you can just ask them any doubt through texts thats a great pro of this generation.I really do appreciate that.The faculty members have high education profile based on their area.In DOTAT faculty members there were one teacher from the same course and another from nursing as core teachers.So it will bring a vast area understanding in the course area as well as in nursing area.
