Campus: the campus of the college is good

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good as it follows real-world approach. I'm a CS student, so most of the course is dependent on a practical approach. Exams happen 2 times in six months, which are of a moderate level.

Class Size: 67Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different for different courses, for me it's 1,10,000 per semester. And, scholarships are provided on a merit basis, and caste basis. The fees can increase in upcoming years, but the facilities provided are worth the fees

Campus Life

Campus Life is very good, the environment is good, the people are good, plus the activities that happen in college are interesting. Sports facilities are top-notch, infrastructure is also good. Libraries contain numerous amounts of books. Clubs are formed and students can actively join those clubs

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good, rooms are cleaned every day, rooms are big and spacious. Meal quality is not that good. Registration process can be found at the official site of college, i.e. opju.ac.in. Rooms are both AC and non AC, and people can select according to their choices

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of the course was atleast 50 percent in the 12th boards. Application form and details can be found at the official site of the college

Many faculties are highly qualified and good, but many of them are not that qualified. Their approach of teaching is what i dont like personally. Interaction with many teachers isn't helpful, but many good and helpful teachers are also there who help us whenever we need

Life in nit Raipur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as highly relevant as my opinion and comprehensive it's well structured syllabus combining course concept with practical component by the team of the institute from knowing and research about this it totally influenced my decision to choose this course the curriculum as it ffectively prepares student for real world applications and by through labs projects and problem solving activity while also building a strong foundation it provides more knowledgeable and growing generation level skills development source mid sem exams is easy but the end sem. Is relatively tough the frequency and timings of exam along with our perspective on their difficulty level

My Daily Life At NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is pretty nice , the highest package offered in the year 2024 was 57 LPA or 58 LPA Something , Which is significant Big in india. And our Median Package Lies in 9 or 10 LPA. Student become eligible in 3 year for placemnet , Many companies has visited us in the past like Google , Microsoft , Phonepy Etc. The placement percentage is very nice around 80% + but in our branch Placemnet is very low it is around 30 % which is very low as the standard of NIT. Many student goes to forien for highly Studies. I will be doing UPSC After my exam

College Experience of NIT RAIPUR

Placement Experience:

the placement of our college is good as compared to prvate college it provide average package of around 11.1 LPA .and the highest package of our college in year 2024 was around 56 LPA or 57 LPA . but the placement in lower branch like us or biomedical engineering or civil engineering ,they have very less percententage placement around 20-30 % in the class and average package of around 7 LPA , so it is not too good for lower branch . students can become placement in the 5th semester . many companies visits us many are the very big companies like microsoft , amazon , google , tcs , hp petroleum. i will prepare for GATE exam as i have my aim of studying in the IITs , iam planning for Mtech in IITs after that if i didn't got placed , i will prepare for SSC CGL exam or UPSC exam for IAS . but mainly focus on GATE CSE.

Life At NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

seventh semester is the semester from when students can eligible for campus placements . google , microsoft , nvidia , meta , tcs , tesla , wipro , lg , sony , sumsung , apple , tata steel , jindal and lots of other companies i can't name all of them here . heighest package was 80 lakh and average package was 12 lakh per annum. lots of students get placed but some of them want to do higher studies and some go for goverment job but placement percentage is approx 85% in campus . i want to do higher studies in biotechnology after compeleting my btech degree from famous universities .

My Life At NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

There are Good Placements of Our Colleges and Companies like Amazon , Boat , TVS , HP Petroleum Came For Shorting the students. but , i Will Talk about My Course in Biotech There's Only 4 Students Got Placed. That too In Data Analysis. Means No Placement in Biotech Field. We Have to move for Higher Studies for getting Placed. I will try to give SSC CGL as i want to become an Govt. offficer. The highest Package of The College is 59LPA(Year 2024)

Truth about NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

NIT Raipur is a remarkable college!!

Placement Experience:

All the metals and mining companies be is JSW Steel, Tata Steel, or government companies like the Coal India and others were the ones that provides us placements. Our placements were amazing as we had the least students anf barring a few all are placed.

OPJU - Development while making great memories

CG-PET exam cutoff is accepted in the college. I applied for other colleges through CUET exam and jee exam. I was not able to clear jee and after that this was the best option . A college with affordable fees and decent avg. Package. The lifetime placement advice and guidance and help that is provided in OPJU even after graduation is better than most engineering colleges that don't really care after you graduate....Read More
