Likes

The campus environment was excellent. Well developed library is my most favourite part of the college.
Chemistry laboratories, both ug and pg laboratories was good.
Chemistry department was very nice. Teachers as wel as the HOD where much friendly.

Dislikes

Parking space for students' vehicles should be developed.

The college follows the syllabus of Calicut University. BSc. Chemistry has more importance in theoretical and practical studies. In my opinion, theory classes should be taken in the laboratory in order to understand, its theoretical approach simultaneously.

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 3200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution Fee Structure comes under the university. Different scholarships are available for students of different categories. State as well as national scholarships are available. Every scholarship is based on the marks obtained in the previous board examination. A fee may vary for self-financing courses from that of aided courses.

Campus Life

Campus Life was excellent. Political groups and different clubs are active there. Students-oriented programs are active. Two units of NCC and NSS are very well. Arts and sports are well supported. The college supports sports very well.

Admission

Admission to MES Kalladi College is merit-based. It doesn't involve an entrance examination. Students should apply for the respective subjects in their respective colleges in the Calicut University admission portal. A centralised allotment process is followed.

Faculty

The faculty members of MES Kalladi college Mannarkkad are highly qualified. Majority of the faculties has better experience in their respective subjects. Faculties with PhD, MPhil, M.ed, etc. are the attractions of each department.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Life at SB

Placement Experience:

The college has a well functioning placement assistance. There are various companies including banks and Tech based companies which arrives in the college for placements every year. The placement assistant cell prepare students very well for the placements.They grooms the students and prepares them for aptitude test, interviews and group discussions which are required for placements.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Placement Experience:

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Placement is opens for students studying final year. There is coaching for placement for free of coast for the students who registered for placements

I take admission in mes kc because it is good college compared to other some college. Mes kc is near to my home and easy to travel. I applied 3 other college instead of mes kc in first allotment i get the admission in med kc. There is no such exam for admitted to college. Want pass 12 and there is no much admission process.
