Inside LJ: A Student's Perspective

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose BCA was the variant programming languages being taught. Many languages like Python,SQL and Java are useful for many purposes and learning those has helped me try new things and gain experience which would help me in the corporate world Maybe the core focus on old languages and the outdated versions can be changed to new languages or the learning of mostly used tools in today's world. Semester exams are conducted twice per a year. The difficulty level of examination is quite high for the third semester only. Other semesters are highly scorable with proper practice and learning.

The tuition fees for this course is 26,000 per year where we have to pay 13,000 for each semester. There are chances for you to get a scholarship if you are not a CBSE student or from general caste. It is very easy to access the scholarship for every odd semester where you will get 9,000 every year. The college also provides financial aids to provide for hostel fees. There was a grant annual festival called EHSAAS which was held in Feb 2023. Every year tech gatherings are conducted in the college where contests related to tech are held and champions are awarded accordingly to encourage them. Pupils can put on dance shows, stand ups or any programme to display their skills. Any pupil can join and try their best. Also the pupils can put up stalls and sell things which would increase their knowledge about marketing. Many books related to the course by well-known authors are available in the library that can be rented for a week. Along with that we can find some great classic novels by authors like Charles Dickens, Jane Austen etc. Every classroom is given a projector and a black board the faculty can easily use both. There are many sports contests like cricket, football, badminton etc. Students can be part of teams like Management team, property team, technical team etc according to their interests and contribute in that.

The eligibility of the course is to have taken computer science, mathematics, statistics or any other computer related subject in your 12th. Also you're supposed to have scored minimum 50% in your exams. The application form can be found from the college or we can apply through Gujarat University website where we have to provide this college as first preference and according to merit, the lists will be provided and if we get through the list, we can take admission easily. There are no exams conducted for admission here

The faculty gives attention to each student and some of the faculties identify the students with potential or who are willing for hard work and give them special attention and provide them with opportunities to learn new skills and have more experiences. The faculties act as mentors for us in any situation and give us solutions or new paths to solve our problems. Any doubts or questions we have will be answered at the moment or in person after the session in detail.
