Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

1. First of all they follow the course curricullum of NLUs which explains itself that how effective the syllabus and the learning will be, I choose BA LLB as I felt it was the best and interesting course and I can cope up with it. 2. The curricullum is great as it interconnects with every aspects of the legal world and also helps in further pursuing PG courses. 3. There are no suggestions from my side as they already have a great faculty, library and teaching methods (traditional classroom learning and also modern electronic materials). 4. They have regular class tests, vivas, presentations and semester wise exams etc. which are conducive for students to be a great lawyer.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

1. Some internships were offered to me by our whatsapp groups for the same purpose but I did my internships at my hometown. So, I will not be able to answer this question but they do provide internships as my fellow mates have got some and they have got some decent stipend from time to time.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had paid rupees 100000 per year for 5 years. The complete cost of my five years cost was 5 lakh rupees which included tution fee, library fee, other services, but this was for 2017-2022 so it will not be the same, as with time and need the rates will change. The college do have scholarships and financial aid I was not a beneficiary of that but there were my friends and classmates who recieved these aids.

Campus Life

4.5

1. They conduct academic Intra and Inter college competitions which are very conducive for moulding students personality and skills. These happens in almost every month leaving the time they conduct semester exams. 2. All kinds of legal books, journals and materials are available in their library especially the e-materials like manupatra and SCC which are very important for a successful understanding of the legal academics. 3. All the classes are smart classes with projector and boards of both types for e-presentation and for traditional chalk and talk method of teaching. Teachers and student both have electronic record of attendance. They have an app for students to be informed about their attendance and college notifications. 4. They do conduct all kinds of sports competition which also includes inter and intra college competitions. They have a gym with great gym equipments and indoor sports equipments. 5. They have lots of student committees be it relate to sports, academics etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

1. A bed was provided, there is stone slabs in every room as tables for the student to keep his books, stationaries etc., plastic chairs, Wifi facility, bus facility for college, day to day cleaning, water filter. 2. There are variety of food in the menu and the meal quality is mediocre. Veg and Non- veg is also available. 3. Registration are not online, the person has to visit the hostel for admissions, the fee is affordable. 4. If the student wants to rent room or PG near college the loaclity of muddinaplya, ullal, nagarbhavi are some of the best places to be near to the college.

Admission

1. All students are eligible for admissions irrespective of their background in their predegree(Science, Commerce or Humanities) with 45% above score in 10+2. 2. The applications are available on their site www.iesonline.co.in/KLE-law-admissions/ and also it has their contact details. 3. I am not aware of the reservation details as I was not eligible to avail that. 4. They are pretty serious about class tests, viva voce, moot court presentations etc in every semester and also semester wise main exams. 5. There are no suggestions for improvement in the admission process as it is perfect and easy to be done with.

Faculty

4.5

1. They have one of the best and well qualified minds in their faculty. 2. Professors are very friendly and approachable, they are always ready to solve the issues and also provide with academic and emotional support to the student. 3. The faculty consists of PhD and LLM holders who have mastered their fields and are committed to impart their valuable knowledge to the students. 4. They are ready to communicate with the students during and even after the classes. 5. They help you in academics competitions like moot court, youth parliament etc.

Placement Experience:

The placements of Christ University Bangalore, are pretty decent. Students are eligible to get placements for the 9th semester, and there are a lot of companies that come for campus placements like Shardul Amrchnad Mangaldas and Cyril Amrchand Mangaldas, Khaitan, Puviyah and co., Trilegal and etc. The highest placement that went last year was 23 lakh, and the average placement is 6-7 lakhs. My plan is to do litigation after getting a degree.

It's the law firms like Wadia Gandhy, Dsk Legal, Trilegal and others. Some merchant bankers too are now a part of our placements thing and this is where it is getting interested as we are getting to explore new opportunities. Pay as of now is around 4-5 LPA but I hope it increases to atleast 10 by 2030.

Placements are okay not so good because of the field as Law doesn't have much placements because it is only given in corporate sector and other things people only have to get employment like for Self employment.

The university has a placement cell which is helpful. They help us get internships in which place we want (only if we are eligible). The placements are nice which are reported by the seniors. We got to know that most of the seniors had a starting package of 7L per annum.

Mostly it's the law firms like Indus Law, Globus, PICT and others. The payment scale therefore is less when it is compared with NLSIU or other NLUs. Some private companies like the UB Group and ITC amoung other others are also coming to hire students who have chosen corporate law as their main electives.
