The Journey at AISSMS COP

The first two semester involve the basics of 11th and 12th, additionally basics of pharmaceutical studies. Further, as the course moves on advance topics such as biopharmaceutics, novel drug delivery system, biotechnology etc., are the part of the course. There are two internal exams sessional 1 and 2 which have both theory and practical exam. At the end of semester university theory and practical exam is conducted. Continuous assessment system is also part of the curriculum. The faculty student interaction and involvement in NCC also holds marks as well as credits.

The intership is only for a duration of month and the stipend depends on the company. The companies like Emcure, Serum, Nulife, Cipla, Lupin provide internship. Also local pharmacy stores provide internship. If students are interested they can take up internship at hospital pharmacies.

Scholarship are available for the students. Students also avail the campus employment opportunities by working as assistant in library, office and faculty members. There is only one complusory fee that is breakage fees, which is to be paid at the end of every academic year

There are various events like Ranangan, Spandan, Srujan, idea competition, National Pharmacy Week conducted throughout the year. There are various college committees like NSS, Ecorangers, Extension Cell, APGA which organise various events for community building, social empowerment, women empowerment, environment conservative and many more for the holistic development of the student. The college library gives students access to variety of books and international research journals. The library also provides access students to science direct journal through the college login credentials. The college has training and placement cell which helps students to get internships in industry, take students for industrial visit and also placements.

Students who have given MHCET Or NEET and who have passed their 12th class are eligible to get admission. The admission process is centealised. The students have to get admission through the centralized CAP rounds. The last round is institutional round where students canvapply in the college for admission. The cut off for open category is 96 percentile. There is no reservation for OBC.

Faculty is very experienced and has a good research background. For benefit of student buddy mentor system is implemented, wherein in faculty and senior studies mentor the freshers. Faculty member provide help in all the possible ways for students in their as well as academic and other career related issues
