Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I wanted this course from the start. It was my self desicion and the facilities of college made it possible.the curriculum of this college dsn't Focus on real-world. The teaching methods needs to be improved. The exams are okay with an average timing. Things should be taken seriously.

Internships Opportunities

3

Many companies have visited st jhon college some of them are jsw and Wipro and other local companies and startups. Many of the internships are unpaid some of them are paid. College does provides on campus placements but are 50 percent students only get placed

Placement Experience

St Jhon college of humanities and sciences provides internship from various local companies and some bigshot companies. Some of the internships are paid well some are unpaid for work exp. Companies like jsw tata also take students for internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee doesn't gets increased suddenly. It is decided by the board to increase or not. College fees is 43000 and late fee payment is booked for fine no extra service fees is charged travelling bus charges are optional for students. College does provides scholarships based on caste and merit and competitive exam marks.

Campus Life

3.5

Many events takes place in this college one of them is satrang which is a seven day event. Theme dress up events are held inside college. Books and journals are kept inside the library which is not that big it is easy to access for students. Clasrooms has projectors as well as smartboards.sports is also one of the feats of our college.

Admission

The admission process was very easy. College released its admission forms in college campus no online mode of admission. Application fees was collected. Competitive exams like jee mhtcet were the entrance exam considered. Then too it can be made a little bit easier

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio of my college is somewhat about 4:60 it is an average ratio. This is not good. Every faculty members are graduated from the respective course and even hold masters degree They don't show that much enthusiasm towards students.they should atleast enjoy teaching

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
