Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum for extc was avg . They knew at the end everyone wants to go and work in IT so they try and add one subject from IT every sem but the practical work for that subj is not provided that's downside of it
Internships Opportunities
no internship offers provided by the placement cell. Its upto the student to find the internship on thier own during the holidays. In my knowledge nobody has got any internship from the college atleast in CS IT EXTC.
Placement Experience
Placement for CS IT is average from last two years nothing extraordinary. But if compared to Colleges like Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues from vashi it nothing . placement for other department is very poor need to be improved.
Fees and Financial Aid
fees for my batch was 130000 for general it might have increased since they transitioned into autonomous University this year. Scholarships for EWS, OBC , and people below 8lpa household income were provided wherein they had to pay fees of Rupees 70000 only .
Campus Life
Campus life is Good. Fests are conducted time to time they might not be very lavish but they are okay. Fest teams tries their best to get the funding from the college but they either get very little or nothing at all
Hostel Facilities
hostel facility is poor , for some reason students prefer PG or rent with group of friends . Its better than hostel and they get to eat good food outside. Most of the students who were in hostel for a year chose to switch to rent or pg next year itself.
Admission
Admission are done on the basis of MHTCET marks mostly. Outside state students can take admission on the basis of JEE marks but very few seats are allotted to that . check the cutoff for the following each course has its own cutoff with CS being the highest one.
Faculty
faculties are good most of them have a masters senior faculties have phd. Some of the teachers are very good and some are not so good at teaching. Some of the teachers are facing work overload as they have to teach 3 subjects out of 5 to one class .
Interview Experience
nothing at all. There is no Group Discussion Nor any kind of interview or written test for the admission. Admission is purely on the basis of cet cutoff. If one falls under the cutoff they just have to pay the fees and lock in their admission.
