- Even though the college is in coimbatore,there were a lot of malayalees there never felt out of town , the boys hostel is not that strict ,one can enjoy a college life
- Sports is encouraged like football and badminton
- The teachers are good , management of nursing is good
Dislikes
- The college I studied was sree abirami ,they didn't have a great campus
- No proper faculties for ahs and gnm ,no holidays
- May make you work at their own hospital,they don't even have enough staff at the hospital,from 2 nd yr on AHS students are assigned hospital duty 6hrs 6 days no gov holidays offs
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I took was Bsc physician assistant, many of you may have not heard of it but is a good course here in India the changes for a job is very low but aboard it will promise a great career ,the main job is the connect between the doctor and nurse I was mostly posted at the casualty got to learn a lot though Direct patient communication
Internships Opportunities
The college has its own hospital were the internship is done its very good as you can have direct patient to patient communication and learn a lot with doctor and nurses you can see all of it with your own eyes a internship experience
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution for nursing was 150000 for boys and 11000 for girls when I joined they keep on adding 5000 the year progresses the tution fee is the same every year the hostel fee is 65000 plus extra expenses like seperate fee for exam ,uniform placement are given for nursing students no scholarship are provided by the university
Campus Life
The campus life was really poor ther was hardly any fest celebration,sports ahd a good run , multiple events were organised ,classrooms are all good equiped with projectors speakers .they do not encourage festivals
Hostel Facilities
Hostel for boys is good , timings are flexible it's is compulsory for nursing students, Tamil and Kerala style menu is served the quality Is medium .the registration process for hostel is also very smooth .but renting a room or ph is much better
Admission
Ther was not eligiblity test the admission process was smooth thay took 20000 as addmission fee . Exams are conducted term wise from this year the difficulty is moderate the addmission can be taken by directly contacting the collge
Faculty
The qualification for nursing faculties have been outstanding but on the other hand when it comes to AHS (ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCE) the quality of staff if drastically low. The schedule is all hectic ,they hardly completes the portion before exams overall it's not recommended
