Course Curriculum Overview

Each course structure was well planned according to the examination dates. The syllabus is very much relevant to the students in gaining overall knowledge on the subject and the semester syllabus will be covered before the examination dates.

Internships Opportunities

We were offered internships related to the current trends of the technology. For electronics students , even in the hardware domain they have provided internships. Octawave was one of the company among the companies.

Placement Experience

Lot of companies visited our college for placements. Twarana , sonata, bigworks, accenture, TCS , cisco, APT online, Execlencia, Excelecom were among them . Even in the recession time, college offered more number of placements to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

As iam covered under government fee reimbursement, I didn't face any difficulties in paying fee. The overall fee would be very much minimal and appropriate according to the course. The fee is also standardized according to the performance in the intermediate.

Campus Life

With the ongoing recession, college has focused on the tech clubs and tech symposiums for the benefit of students. We have a Library with wide range of books available. Sports were considered as a part of curriculum.

Admission

Our college will take eamcet marks into consideration. Based on the merit rank and qualifying marks , seats were allocated accordingly. If you score more marks you can get your desired course seat in college.

Faculty

Almost all the faculty members are well experienced and well qualified. Some of the faculty were doctrate holders and have good knowledge on the subject. Every faculty member has their own approach of teaching.

Think and investigate before you join in any college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we will get eligible for placements but at 7th semester we have to do internships. So, those we will do internship at 8th semester will attend that placements. They will show companies like Facebook,Google , Amazon , ISRO in their websites. But actual companies what we get are Surya tech solutions, AR tech solutions, paltech ,and other Chennai based companies. Especially for Electronics and communication technology they will not provide any better placements when compared to other departments.

After attending EAMCET exam, especially after the announcement of the results, we are able to see the feasible colleges by entering our roll number into system. A week after the results were announced,i went to Geethanjali college with my father. There was construction work happening at Geethanjali college, and the supervisor, known as mastri was supposed to be under the management of GIST. Through him,i was able to secure a building fee discount of 3000. Ultimately, during the EAMCET counselling, i was able to geta seat at Geethanjali college, which had been my aspiration. I choose to take up computers as my major. The main mistake I made was joining a new college, which has presented some difficulties regarding placements. After completing the EAMCET exam I applied to 3 colleges like sri Venkateswara College,visvodaya college and Geethanjali institute of science and technology college , in first counseling I placed in Geethanjali college and later I applied to 2nd counselling also I got seat in Geethanjali college. I choose this college because of over other relatives are studied in this college and got placed in placement training . I don't get any rejection from other colleges ,first I prefer Geethanjali college as a first preference .
