The infrastructure of the college is very good with separate building for each and every department, library is always accessible upto 5 pm which is very option to study
Students from all over the country come here to study and seniors are also very supportive, always there to help out and give guidance.
The best part of the college is the fests and events that is conducted, the events are full of energy and always some new singers or actors come to the college, this time harsh gujral came and Varun dhavan also.

Dislikes

Though the use of space is perfect but overall the campus area is little small compared to other colleges, but this has never been much problem
The girls hostel gets closed at 7 pm , which is not good for girls as well , because for outing you need to take permission and all .

Even though I'm in 1st year still we have opportunity to participate in hackathon and many technical events, the college provide Marvel cart coding club that conductusuch events monthly and also seniors take classes before these competitions to get us ready , which is really helpful to work on our technical skills

Internships Opportunities

Finding internship is pretty tough in our college, I guess , as I have interacted with seniors and got to know that you can only get off campus internship if want to do before 3rd year. Else there are many opportunities for final year students

Placement Experience

From 6-7 th semester the students are eligible for placement conducted every year , and companies like Microsoft, Amazon, HP , infosys, Wipro, ITC and many such companies visit to our college. This year total offering were 2009 offers , making it highest so far

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fees is around 48,000 per semester and same for hostel fees , which is very affordable and worth investing as college provides placements opportunities and thus year the highest package was 51Lpa and lowest being 3.5 lpa with average package of 6.7 lpa.

Campus Life

The ANNUAL fest name Renaissance is the best part of college which is three days long event , involving many social and technical events, also sports competition. These are pretty much supported by student council department of college, also there are many clubs in field of technical, social , entertainment, sports and even spiritual also , so time in college is always very enjoyable.

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel inside the campus with students capacity of around 220 , the facilities are very homely means very nice , food is also okay , with different types of meal every other day. Also if anyone wants to stay outside College then also many pg and histels are available which are equivalent good

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

The admission is done through reap counseling ( Rajasthan counseling) which is sort listed on basis of jee mains and 12 percentage. The cutoff for CSe branch is around 88 percentile. And IT branch is 82 percentile.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very supportive and also covers syllabus timely. We always have option as there are about 5-6 teachers for every subject making it easy to approach them . They are always available in staff rooms during college hours and interaction with teachers is very easy.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Through AIEEE or RPET or through management quota. One can just apply through the college portal and submit there Aieee marks. Though RPET is a preferred mode of entrance to any college in RTU. Management quota is also there for well off candidates and lesser marks

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

Honest Breakdown of JECRC College

I had given my JEE mains but didn't score enough to get a NIT or Qualify for JEE Advance. I then applied to various private institutes like UPES, Manipal, SRM, VIT. I got selected for all these institute but then realized that after the fees, calculating the approx cost of living there and all the expenses it wasn't suitable to pay that much money. I then filled REAP form which is for all the colleges in Rajasthan which are affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University. I have filled colleges like SKIT, JECRC, Arya, and more. After I got my ranks according to JEE scores I was allotted JECRC ECE branch. I could've applied for an upward moment and easily would've gotten SKIT cs branch. But I chose JECRC over SKIT as: 1.JECRC has better coding culture. 2. JECRC has better startup culture. 3. The fest and the cultural societies of JECRC are far better than SKIT 4.
