Niem kolkata ; the inside insight.

I was looking for a good event management institute close to me, Niem kolkata also has it's branch in lucknow. It attracted me that they take us to events for the practical learning too. The teaching methods are really good, we learn from the experienced. Although class timings can be managed and increased. There are 2 examinations we have to attend, first occurs after the 8 months of the course and then the finals after the completetion of 12 months, i can say if we have done our assignments well throughout the year, the exam will be easy.

National institute of event management Kolkata provides interships opportunities as fast as your last final exam ends with the average starting package of 14000 per month and it can obviously increase depending on your skills and the vacancy on the company. many companies offered internships directly to the students and we went to work with many professional event management companies like fusion and RKM weddings.

After 12th you can apply for the diploma course and if you are graduated you can go for the pgdem course. There were LOT of companies that vistied and offers were made. We are still new but i know our seniors got many quality offers depending on their skills. The highest starting package a student can get after completing the course is 30,000. almost 98% of the students get placements. I intend to do my best and grab an good oppouturnity.

The total fees of my course in Event management diploma is 94,000 rupees. It is paid in parts, during the admission ( before the start of the class ) it's 35000. Then after 3 months 35000 and then after 6 months the rest amount. Apart from this i don't think you'll have to pay anything. You only get stipend amount while doing events. After the course, you'll get a internship of starting 14-15k and it can increase depending on your skills.

Okay So the institue is quite captivated like there is only one floor where a class, reception area and bathroom and a small kitchen is there with the Faculty office. I was expecting at least like a garden area but there is just a terrace where most of the events take place but they take good care of the place. events like freshers party and naamkaran and independence day, republic day, Holi, Diwali celebration events place in the institute only.

For the admission process, for starters you can call the institute, the number is given on the website, you can google it. There you can understand all the criteria, the admission is done online too, they will ask you for some details and you can pay online too, them when you start attending classes, offline documents will be taken and you sre good to go.

In my batch, currently there are 22 students learning, there are four main admins who run the institute, two male and two female, personally i resonate with female faculty more, they are more real to me. I have seen my senior batches, almost every batch has 25 aprx students. I can say that the faculty tries it's best to mentor us. It is us students that needs to be focused. There are 4 day classes every week and i usually interact with 2/4 + Class teachers every time.
