- AICTE labs in college are the best in WEST UP and provide excellent facilities for students
- The Faculty is very knowledgeable and qualified (most of the professors have PhD)and can guide students very well not only in academics but career wise as well
- As the curriculum is decided by the Indian pharmacopeial commision the content taught in class is very much relevant to the field
Dislikes
- The lack of Air conditioning in classes is unbearable during the Summer
- There are no summer or winter breaks and students have to attend college during the boiling summer heat and freezing winters
- The management is very poor Department of Pharmaceutical technology
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is decided by the Indian pharmacopeial commision and is very much relevant to the pharmaceutical industry Students are given sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge as well as skills
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from 7th semester for placement Tho no good placement opportunities are provided in the department of pharmaceutical technology The highest package to be expet is 8LPA the average being around 4LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees is 107000 per year with an additional 5000 security fees in first year Tho they haven't changed the tuition charges in a long time The Bus charges keep increasing almost every year Last year they were 22400 which increasesd to 24200 this year No good scholarship or financial aid is provided
Campus Life
There are two primary annual fests 'KOLAHAL' in November and 'RANG UTSAV' in February Technical fests include Hackathon and healthathon Different departments have their own freshers and fairwell They even have their own celebrations as Pharmacist day is celebrated in Department of Pharmacy
Admission
The admission process was straight forward The easiest way to get admission into college would be to approach the administration department and ask for admission incharge The students can get admission within a single day They just need to fill out a form, have an interview with the HOD, provide documents and pay atleast half of the first year tution fees
Faculty
The Faculty members are very much qualified for their jobs as most of the professors are Phd in their respective fields Most of the assistant professor are M Pharma and are persuing their PhD Even the lab technicians are atleast B Pharma
