Friendly environment. Having such a supportive and peaceful environment to grow and explore your areas of interest was the most beautiful thing i experienced
Hostels . From having separate room to air conditioning was most relieving in hot climate state of this institution

Hot climate. It would have been better to make it. In some cool area

Course Curriculum Overview

Our core courses have been given priority, knowing our fields of departments. At the same time we have been provided with advanced Artificial intelligence course. Similarly we have been provided with courses of moral ethics course to keep us all in humble behavior with our environment and common folks. Over-all I can say it's best thing to make us match the advance and needed capacity of the country's capability needed.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Abode I had two two projects under the product manager and had developed wireless remote control of robotic arm using WIFI module. It was under 30k stipend and it took me around 1.5 month to finish it. And I was awarded grade A

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees in the institute are as per normal regulations and needs of the institution. But at the same time, people with financial issues are provided some compensation through merit cum scholarship as well as provided through NPS support provided by the office of Academic in the institute.

Campus Life

The campus life can be summarised in 4 aspects One was club life, where we join our regular clubs and there was two weekly sessions including Robotics to NSS to TO science clubs . Second was cultural fests called IGNUS THIRD was Technical fests, prometeo Fourth was sports fests Varchas Over-all they are helpful to overall scientific mind with all skills intact

Admission

Admission process was done through JEE MAINS AND JEE ADVANCED examinations. Almost 16 lakh had applied for jee mains and only 180000 qualified for jee advanced. We had to at least overcome the minimum cut offs and After that we were given counseling to choose our course, and then admission was given

Our faculties members are top class mentors in the institute and have provided us with utmost and superior guidance apart from tution. They not only helped us finish our lessons but also imprinted our minds with futuristic ideas and entrepreneur mindset to have our own independent start ups. They are the reason we are going up in the college ranking in the country.

Placement Experience:

Our college have 100 percent placement of that students who don't have any backlog.because there is demands of Textile engineerings. Companies that comes our college for engineers are Raymond,RSWM, VARDHMAN, SANGAM, NITIN,BSL, TRIDENT and so many more companies Highest pakage is offer by TRIDENT company to 3 students for 27 LPA pakage each student. 100 percent placement is in our college. My plan after getting degree is to got high paying job .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The classes are held offline in classrooms which are more fun and i can learn more rather than the online classes which mostly seem boring and i get learn very little from them due to the distractions. The frequency and the timing of exams is just perfect and the difficulty would be easy to moderate for an average student.

The students are eligible to sit in the placement drive from the 7th semester. IIT Jodhpur - Good or Bad?

I applied colleges for like IIT Delhi, Madras , Bombay , Kharagpur , Kanpur , Roorkee , Guwahati , BHU bt I didn't get the branch I like cause I didn't want the lower branches . So then I got mechanical engineering in IIT Jodhpur. I got the colleges but the lower branches like metallurgy and bioengineering . I gave JEE Advanced for IITs . I came in this college through Josaa councelling . Eligibilty Criteria- Should have 75% marks in class 12 for general and OBC. Should have at least 65% in class 12 for SC , ST and PWD. Should qualify Jee Main and Advanced both. If your marks in JEE advanced is around 120 you can get admission in IITs but the cut off changes every year....Read More

For the admission,I wrote jee mains and then jee advanced exams,the cutoff for me (general) was 80 out of 360 I think,I scored 106 marks and secured 16329 rank in jee advanced,the closing rank for bioengineering was around 17000,so I got a seat in the college....Read More

IIT Jodhpur is ranked #53 by NIRF. There were two main reasons I chose IIT Jodhpur first I am from a technological background and the college offers MBA in Technology Management as very few colleges offers such courses in India and second, the college ranking also played a significant role in my selection criteria. To be part of the college candidate has to clear the CAT exam and must secure a minimum of 60% marks in the bachelor program and 55% for the reserved category.
