What Students Say

Likes

The camp is lush and green spread around 300 acres
The environment is good, no issues from faculty or seniors side

Dislikes

The attendance policy is strict although the lectures are not upto the level which a student would want to sit and attend the classes.
Some of our teachers are excellent, some are good but some professors just barely get the work done.
The lecture halls are in a very poor conditions where the classes are being held.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum overall is good except the Core subject in first year ie C we should have been taught a more relevant language ie Java /c++. The teaching method is plain, we have projectors in classrooms but sadly they don't work so all teachers use is chalk and board.

Placement Experience

The average package was around 7LPA , the thing is if a person is good at DSA and web Dev he has a better chance of getting placed. The on campus placement opportunities are very bleak and one shouldn't rely on it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is around 90k nearly for a day scholar. There are scholarship options available as per my knowledge from the government 's side based on your financial condition. As far I know there are no paid campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

The overall campus life is very average, many events are held but in my experience they are for name sake and not fun. Societies are doing good, specially the CSE and Coders and developers club one could really seek guidance without issues from seniors.

Admission

I took jee mains and secured a seat here , the admission process was a nightmare and the worst part about the college basically. Management is really poor even the faculty is unaware what is to be done sometimes.

Faculty

The faculty overall is helpful and kind, except few most of the teachers listen to students and are good in general. The approachability is great , teachers would never say no to a doubt. Overall the faculty is good the problem is most of the practical part ie labs and all are just formalities and not good.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are average and the students get decent packages. Students are eligible for the placements from the very beginning from the 7th semester. The companies visiting hbtu are samsung, exxonMobil, TCS, FMCG, IBM, Hindustan Unilever, Global Logic, Adobe, Paytm, HCL technologies, Nestle, Asian Paints, Britannia and Dabur etc. The highest placement was 32 lpa while the average was 7 lpa last year . Last year almost 75% of the students were placed. My plans are to take a good placement from the college and side by side i'm working on my startup idea as well .

Placement Experience:

Usually after 3rd sem, students star getting internships. And for compaines visiting our college, except amazon (they blacklisted us). Almost every top companies do visit the college. Highest package was 59LPA, and the average for cse is 12-13Lpa. 99% students get placements. Many students goes abroad for mtech after graduating from snu, i'd like to do the same but after getting a year or two job experience.

the placement of college is good because mid of 7th semester company visit in a campus and many comapnies are come in college like maruti suzuki, TATA, HERO motors,schlumberger ,crompton,tricolite ,cummins ,etc 40-50 company visit in campus and the heighest package is 12lpa and lowest is 3.6 lpa and the student have 60% in average of all 6 semester and 90% student have placed after the degree my plan is a good rank in GATE and masters from IIT colleges

This collage has good return on investement. Its campus size is huge. On the basis of rank this collage offers decent placement. It is better than other state collages of UP.
