Course Curriculum Overview
I learned that you don't need to study to pass exams, but if you study and clear your concepts it will help you later in life. The general measurements and assessment approach among universities is to have two sessional exams and one pre-university test and One final exam within a semester.
Internships Opportunities
College provides internship opportunities to their students. Companies like Junglee Games, Brand Muscle, Cisco,etc. provide internships with stipend. Oracle database program, codsoft internship program, etc are various projects of the internship.
Placement Experience
Normally, the campus placement procedure takes place in the middle of the fourth semester. There are lot of companies visits the college which provides good offers for the students. The highest on campus placement of MIET is around 14 LPA and which rises to 30 LPA in terms of Off campus placement. The average is 5 LPA of MIET . Around 70% - 80% students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees of the college is pretty fair. The fees is about Rs118000 for the first year and reduced to 102000 at the end of the graduation. The complete cost is around Rs 800000 with all expenses including tution, service fees, exam fees, hostel fees and other compulsory charges .
Campus Life
There are lot of hackathons are organized by college every month. The library contains a lot of books and e - books. Every classroom have projector along with ethernet cables. Sports Activities and extracurricular activities are offered by college. College have its Football team, kabbadi team and cricket team.
Hostel Facilities
Every room have two beds, two electric sockets, one fan and two almirahs. Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner are provided by the hostel mess. Meal quality is average but menu have different foods items everyday. There are lot of localities around the college like Vedvyaspuri, Godwin, etc.
Admission
The basic eligibility requirement for admissions to any BTech couse is : Candidates must have passed the class 12 exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. They must also have secured minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the above subjects combined. The application form , application fees and application dates are provided on the college's official website. If you score high percentile in JEE mains exam then you have a high chance to get benefitted in tution fees . The only suggestion for the college is to give some benefit in fees to the students who provide admissions to the college.
Faculty
There are a lot of faculties in the college. Each student have enough number of faculties whom which he/she can discuss its doubts and problems. There are also a lot of labs in college with lab assistants, they helps students to build projects. Faculties have a great approach towards teaching and provide mentorship to students.
