Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum is more activity based, group based work, coalition and results. Interactive learning platform influenced me to choose. The curriculum tries to prepare us for the real world but fails to execute it properly. It is often considered to tackle real world problems by yourself. The faculties must talk about how they are working outside the university, share the present not only history, curriculum anyways touches the good points, has to delete few units which are not considered that important in today's world and rather focus on present day scenario. Exams and timings are good. Difficulty is same since the decade. Exams really don't test your knowledge. Written exams don't do that but design exam and jury do help a lot in testing the student.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There were lot of studios and design firms recommended by our faculty to check in and apply for. I did get a internship opportunity from a startup firm which helped me in hands-on work and learnt about the market, helping me in my personal and professional growth. The firm also provided me with a decent amount of stipend of 7k a month. Handled projects which were taught in class at some point and the challenges and questioned were resolved while we were directly working in that situation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees had been hiked right when I joined the college, it was 30k earlier but now it's 65k. Reason god knows The scholarship eligible students are still paying the full fees even when they are not required to pay, where the state government had promised to pay. The university management asks the students instead to pay the full fees until the government sanctions the amount.

Campus Life

4.5

The overall experience has been Friendly and diverse community of students and faculty Regular cultural events and celebrations, such as State Formation day and Bathukamma and Christmas and Ramzan -Opportunities to interact with students from various disciplines, including architecture, fine arts, and design. State-of-the-art classrooms with multimedia facilities Well-stocked library with a vast collection of books, journals, and online resources Design studios and workshops equipped with few software tools Sports facilities, including a volley ball court, indoor games studio and a gymnasium Auditorium and seminar halls for cultural events, lectures, and workshops

Admission

I took the exam of NATA, JEE MAINS P2, Both the results were taken into consideration by the State Architecture Rank . The cut off depends on the category you belong to. The final admission is done on the basis of your SAR(State Architecture Rank) Course eligibility is to pass matriculation, 12th with 60 percentage of results in the subject Maths and Science background. Reservation benifits are the University holds reserved 60percenr seats for the Andhra University affiliated students (From Andhra Region) in the , 40 percent seats for the Osmania University affiliation students (From Telangana Region)and remaining for other. The exam and difficulty are balance enough to test the student and grant admission, the exam does has aptitude and physics and drawing challenges. Admission process need no improvement.

Faculty

4

All the faculties hold an eminent masters degree. Teaching is not always conventional, it is often like a discussion and debate. And at times it becomes fun to be in such interactive classes. All the senior faculty have a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience. The assistant professors too help in mentoring students, they are very friendly to approach and care for your problems.
