LNIPE: Indias' Physical Education hub.

The curriculum for physical education pedagogy ensures holistic development of the future physical educator and includes subjects like curriculum development, assesment, test and measurement, exercise physiology, sports psychology, biomechanics, kinesiology, sports medecine, research and statistics. Hence due to its all round approach I have selected this course. It also includes practical teaching lessons and skill of sports, intramural organizations are also essential part of the curriculum that helps in managerial practices. The curriculum provides opportunities to explore one's strengths and work on one's weaknesses, it includes leadership programs, internships, intramural organizations, conferences, various extracurricular activities like literary society, cultural society etc. Not only does it boast sporting excellence but also academic growth. Course curriculum needs to be modified frequently. There is one mid term and one semester end exam in each sem and are achievable.

Students are offered internship in the 3rd sem of Masters course, students can approach any institution with permission of college to offer thier services as sports coach, physical education teacher or manager. Some institution may offer stipend ranging from 8000 to 20000 per month. Students have to take role of physical education teacher and organize physical activities such as mass demonstration, sports competitions etc. Students also take up classroom teaching.

Students from 8th sem Bped and 4th sem Mped are eligible for placement opportunities. College has a placement cell that takes responsibility of providing placements to students, Amity international school gwalior among other institutions across India and international institutions in Maldives as well as Mauritius and Dubai offer job opportunities to LNIPE students. After completing the course students Mped students can attempt UGC NET exam that will make them eligible for assistant professor post in colleges, also competitive exams like KVS, NVS can be attempted by students and qualifying students can get a permenant job offer in such institutions. The average package is 4.72 LPA and highest would be 12 LPA. 90% students are guaranteed placement after completing thier courses rest 10% wish to continue independent businesses or academy Coaching or opt for PhD programs. After completely degree i wish to secure post of physical education Director in any of theesteemed colleges of India

College fee is 1.10 lakh Tuition fees increase 10% every year due to inflation rates, cost of living, and number of students admitted. The complete cost, including tuition, mess fees, Hostel fees, security deposits, etc. Make up 114500 per year for the Masters of Physical Education course. The Merit Scholarship is awarded to top 6 students in semester-end examinations and a full refund of semester fees is done. SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP The Sports Scholarship is awarded to students who secure medals at all india and international levels. PROF. R.P. SHARMA SCHOLARSHIP The best footballers (one male and one female) will be awarded this scholarship amounting to Rupees one thousand (Rs. 1000/-). Scholarships are also provided to economically weaker students after assessing their situation. I have participated as a football coach at the LNIPE annual summer camp and earned a stipend of 8000 for 45 days. Other opportunities, such as sports nursery and officiating opportunities, are provided.

Academic year usually starts in June and in the beginning fresher students undergo orientation program. On 17th of August LNIPE celebrates it's Foundation day, where alumini, faculty and students come together. Next we have various freshers programs to facilitate the smooth welcome of the freshers. Students also participate in sports competitions representing the institute in the all India Inter University Competitions. Various sports teams like football, hockey, boxing, basketball, swimming etc have brought laurels to the institute. Other activities like intramural and Inter class competitions help maintain the competitive and energetic spirit of students. LNIPE houses India's one and only Library fully dedicated to Physical education with over 20,000 books belonging to different fields in sports. Classrooms consist of projectors and smart boards. The student portal consists of anti ragging cell, mentorship and career counseling. Students can also adress grievances online.

A single room houses 2 occupants with adequate furniture, light and fan, each floor has 2 washrooms, with 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Each floor has 2 water coolers. There are 5 buildings for boys with additional phd and diploma hostels, and 4 for girls. There is one mess for boys and girls each, food us of good quality and menu keeps changing every day and on rotation basis, good indian food is served days of fasting are observed and students can notify mess staff before hand for the same. Registration for Hostels are done along with the admission process itself. As most students belong to other stated hostel facilities are compulsory, Hostel fees are reasonable. Students continuing thier PHd courses as full time can opt for PG facilities outside campus, and is easily available and affordable in the locality.

Bachelors of physical education or equivalent with at least 50% marks for UR and OBC-NCL and 45% for SC/ST and kashmiri Migrants. Admissions shall be based on merit and marks obtained in the entrance exam, which is conducted by NTA known as the CUET exam holding a weightage of 60%, and the sports proficiency test, which is conducted in college and holds a 40% weightage. Entrance exam is held annually, in the month of April-May. I think that this is the best admission process; one thing that can be done is provide accommodation during skill proficiency test

All the Faculty Members at LNIPE are qualified Phd holders and experts in thier respective fields, they possess immense knowledge which they impart to students during lectures and on the field of play. The faculty to student ratio is 1:50 in Bped, and 1: 20 in Mped, this provides appropriate attention to the learning needs of students, as teachers provide valuable material and information to students in class. Teachers are open to interaction and treat everyone like family, the faculty reside in the campus itself and are present on duty from morning 6am to evening 6 pm, which includes thier classroom lectures and on field practical sessions.
