- Washrooms are not cleaned and hygienic . It smell so bad and dirty.
- 75% attendance is compulsory so have to attend class everyday. No time left for self development
- Due to reservation even the not talented students get admission who are not serious for studies at all.
Course Curriculum Overview
The best thing which attracted me is that it is the bestest public university for women in odisha. The fee structure is less and the location is very convenient for everyone due to availability of easy transportation facilities. The syllabus is well designed for improving other skills including studies. They provide skills such as spoken English, soft skills and employability skills which is a must in today's competitive world. The exams are always on time and time table is given a month ago so that we get enough time to prepare for exams but the difficulty level of exams are moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee is 3330 for general but for St and sc students it's less. They take fees yearly. Other fees such as seminar fees, farewell, fresher etc they took money. Both national and state scholarship are available for meritorious as well as low income grp students. I haven't taken any job or responsibility neither got any stipend
Campus Life
So many events are held such as basant utsav at the time of April, foundation day at the time of December, ganesh puja, saraswati puja, republic Day , independence day, women's day etc. In the library there are books but not latest one only old books are available. Sports activities are always promoted as well as other activities such as NCC, social services etc. Yes there are social groups.
Admission
To take admission you have to clear your 12th atleast with 60% . Selection is purely on mark basis not any entrance exam is required to be cleared. Students who are interested will apply along with a application fees of 200/- within a specified date. Then a selection list will be released with the cut off mark which vary every year.
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is 1:40 so i don't feel it's too less which is quite normal in graduation. The teachers are ugc net or jrf qualified, even some have already completed their phd so they are highly qualified and well trained. Teachers are supportive, and nice towards students. They clear our doubt and help us in studies as well counselling for future goals.
