Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Mbbs is quite a difficult course because u have to deal with human life. the proud and satisfaction u get when someone gets better and gets relief from their suffering is unimaginable. mbbs is not the end u have to do atleast pg in some field to get good exposure in your field. Studying in medical field is a never ending task. In mbbs their is senior junior toxicity along with it during internship and pg 1st year doctors have to do duty for 36 hours continously which is highly dangerous for mental and physical health. Every year in mbbs u have to give sessionals, pre university and university exams in which university exams are the main deal which u have to clear to get into next year, you have to get 50% marks in theory as well as practical exams and theory exams comprises of paper 1 and paper 2 of each subjects

Internships Opportunities

2

During internship you get stipend of 15000 and internship is of 1 year after mbbs and after pg also it of 1year in which you get 60000 if you are under scholarship you have to serve for 5 years rural service bond

Fees and Financial Aid

the course for mbbs in SAIMS is now increased to 16 lakhs per year. but in M.P u get two scholarships one is mukya mantri medhavi yojna and other is post metric scholarship which provide u whole tution fee if u fall under the required criteria of scholarship.

Campus Life

4

HARMONY is the annual fest of SAIMS and PULSE (AIIMS delhi) RETINA (AIIMS Bhopal) are worth giving a visit. they occur during October to November every book of every department is available in library one can easily get it and can read in library and in reading hall. projectors mic and laser pen are provided to every faculty and white boards their is a basketball court a badminton court a table tennis court a cricket field in our campus

Admission

To get into mbbs u have to clear NEET examination cutoff to get into private or government medical colleges. If you are among sc/st reservation u can get benefit of upto 100-150 marks. for example if cutoff for UR is 650 then obc will have 640-645 sc will have 550-580 and st will have 525-530. NEET occur every year in may as per as difficulty is concerned now a days question asked are mostly from ncert books so one have to very very thoroughly read ncert books. but due to this difficulty level has got down and cutoff is increased significantly. many of students get 720/720 marks i think when someone is applying for scholarships each and everyone's ITR should be checked along with it strict checking should be done regarding their backgrounds because i have seen many individuals getting scholarship even though they are very well sufficient to pay the fee.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is pretty good when we compare it to other medical colleges. faculties are very well qualified and are reputed in their fields. some of them are very cooperative and want u to become a great in ur life. u may feel difficulty in 1st year as every department wants u to adapt to medical environment, so they are pretty strict but slowly and gradually everyone adapts and things start to go smoothly this is a case of every medical college. u can interact with ur teachers by asking them when they are free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
