My memorable and life changing journey at JNTUA

The curriculum is very much traditional and my college nothing can do more to it depends on AICTE. In my opinion the general subjects in 1st year may be removed and the students would be taught with the latest emerging technologies. But from the second year onwards my college syllabus is almost aligned with the AICTE approved syllabus and the subjects are most important and can provide the students much more about the industrial needs and ternds. The curriculum that ahs been implemented inmy college prepares the students fpor many competetive exa,ms like GATE, CAT,CALAT,GMAT and it is much more aligned with the industry needs and requirements. But the teaching methods may be improved in such a way that the students increase their interest in the particular industries and the students must be taught in a more practical way with the real word applications. The exams are perfectly designed and implemented with abundant time for preparation for the students

The students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards. As part of covid crsisis and recession all over the world the no of comapnies recruting fresghers gto decreased numerously. But still our college have a got a good number of placements. In the 2024 passe dou batch almost 45 percent of students got placed in different comapanies, which is afr more better than the other private and deemed instsitutions. The companies visited this year are Tcs, Accenture, LandT , Medha Servo, Factset, Polmon, Indomim , Manthra Technologies. Iam planning to settle down in good reputed comapany with a good package in domain only where I can learn and grow

The college fee consists of two parts the tution fee and the special fee which is 12850/- per an year. But for the students who are eligible for the fee reimbursement and scholarship programs like Jaganannna vidya deevena and jaganannna vasathi deevena the Government pays everything which is like a boon for all the students who are poor and middle class. I have paid a total of 51,400 INR as tution fee and special fee as I was eligible for JVD provided by the government of AP nothing has been spent from my fathers pocket. The only thing I paid was my mess bill which is around 3000 INR per month. Due to covid and all its consequences I didnt spend all my 4 years at the campus and I paid a total of 78,000 Inr as my mess bill. So I can say my college is much affordable. The college will provide as many placements as it can I have undertaken L and T exam cleared it and attended for the interview also unfortunately I was not able to clear it. I cleared Medha Servo exam also and waiting .

The individaul fests for individual depatments are conducted every year in March in Mechanical department it is called DYNAMECHS. The college day will be held every year on March/April. Many cultural activities, social and cuktural activities are orgnized in the college like the 5K run as a aprt of aazadhi ka amruth mahotshav. The college will held NSS and NCC activities. Ther si a new lecture hall building in the college where all the classes will be run. Thre are a,ny student clubs like themusic club, sports clu, dance clu, innovation club etc. The institute focus on the overall development of the students.

All the students who are non local will prefer the college hostels only as they are clean and very much affordable for everyone. When it comes to boys the 2nd years are placed ina separate hostel and the 3rd and 4th years are placed ina single hostel. While for all the girls from the 2nd year are palced in a big hostel in separate blocks. All the 1st years are placed in separate hostel for boys and girls to avoid ragging. The food is neat and clean and it is prepared and served freshly. The menu will be followed strictly in the hostels. The registration process for the hostels is through by consulting the hostel office and making advance and caution deposit to their SBI collect account. The locality of all the hostels is within the campus and will be of a walkable distance to the campus and all the respective departments.

The eligibilty of admission into B.tech programs is through the APECET which was named as apeamcet in my time of exam . The cut off varies every year and it varies form the stream you slect the admission into. I got a rank of 13844 in the APEAMCET exam and got an admission into this prestigious institution in the depatment of Mechanical Engineering. There is an application fee of around 500 INR and we can we can found this application in the BIEAP website. The exam may be held in April/May of every year and the 2nd year intermediate students can write this. The admissions are also based on caste reservation system in which this is a tough time for the general candidates and the worst aprt of it. The difficulty of APECET exam lies between easy-medium.

There are many qualified professors , assistant professors and associate professors in the university . But most of te teachers are adhoc and temporary only. This could be changed so that the students can understand the subjects and develop strong interests in them, which may lead to good job oppurtunities as well as they can drive some of the students to reseach programs also. The faculty to student ratio is balanced . But no one cares about the students overall growth and their performance. The teachers simply come and do their work and teach the students for a formality only. But some of the teachers are student friendlyand they help the students in everything and mentor them in the right way. Some of the teachers are much more interactive and they will ask every student about thir problems and support in their academic growth and in career advancement. But all the teachers are not the same.
