Likes

I liked how good some teachers are, they are always here to help.
The classes are highly engaging as all of our profeesors are highly qualified.
The campus is very beautiful and big, we got parks and all.

Dislikes

Result declaration takes a lot of time then necessary.
The cafeteria hasnt opened yet, they have a builring but still we dont eat there but somewhere else in the college.
The college placements are goo but they prefer core branches, like CSE, EE,etc

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course is highly versatile, we can get into any niche, from control to coding and all. The curriculum is highly practical in the real world, it would be better if they had relied more experienced based learning. They take frequent tests

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided for toppers and SC, ST and EWS candidates, the cost is 1 lakh a year for SFS seat (self funded seat) but 30 thousand for GAS seat (Government Aided Seat), and the college is highly helpful for getting us internships.

Campus Life

The recreational activities are very fun, we have Thar (the techfest) and Anukriti (The Cultural fest), Library is laced with all the books the teachers recommend, so there's no issue for the books, we have a lot of clubs and it is very fun.

Admission

Students are accepted in the course on the basis of JEE and 12th scores Admissions happen offline and information can be found on RTU's website and Newspaper. Exams happen for 3 times, Mid-term 1 and 2 and End Sem.

In our batch we got 1 teacher for 23 students, so everyone gets undivided attention. Teachers are highly qualified, having studied from Top IITs and IISc The teachers are highly approachable, we can go in their office to ask for help.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Through AIEEE or RPET or through management quota. One can just apply through the college portal and submit there Aieee marks. Though RPET is a preferred mode of entrance to any college in RTU. Management quota is also there for well off candidates and lesser marks

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

Admission process was very tired. Admission happened through reap . Reap is an admission process. I didn't conduct any exam. But the reap rank was decided on the basis of jee mains rank. Forms for reap are available in June or july month. Application fees is not that high, it is quite reasonable. The eligibility of course is 4 years.
