Amity University- college of dreams

Dislikes

  • Campus is to big so it's difficult to commute from one block to another block
  • Management can be done better and it's a bit costly college

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is basic that is college level though it teaches you about the basics of coding and about software but it does not makes you ready for real world none of the colleges curriculum does that you have develop your own skill to get a job no matter where you study

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Campus employment opportunity is good for BTech students they make you a priority and fees is a bit costly for msc it It was 80,000 for per semester it was 2 year course so i had 4 semester and you also have to pay 20,000 as security at the initial fees

Campus Life :

Infrastructure is really good every department is divided by floors and different building denoted by blocks in an area it's a really big campus with tons of things to do many places to eat with centralised AC. You can also participate in sports and college also have intercollege tournament for every department in various sports

Admission :

So for my course i needed 70% in pcm and 70% in my bachelor's degree due to covid i have to only give a interview that was reviewed and i entered the college but now there are entrance exams that you have to pass and an interview after that you can apply till September i guess after that admission closes

Faculty :

Student to faculty ratio is good teacher's are really helpfull and ever teacher have different unique and great teaching style which makes it easy to catch up to things and you can go for help and ask them about things whenever you want they help out students not only for studies but also many time invovles in there research to give student a good exposure to stuff

Course Curriculum Overview:

The campus provide hands on experience in this course. The curriculum is updated according to the new trends in the field of forensic science. They provide hands on experience on case studies, projects, laboratory experiments and whole crime scene investigation exposure from the 1st step reaching to crime scene till getting it the evidence collected packed and sent to the particular department for their examination. Here we have learnt about FIR (First Information Report) proper sealing of evidence and labelling them. They have prepared us for real world crime investigation. But i think their is still some improvement is needed in curriculum as the course provides us all the detailed learning about the laboratory related and investigation related things but with upcoming trends i think we should also learn the crime related to digital platforms like cyber crime, frauds, scams, Phishing which are new crime trends in our society so that we can get more job opportunities in forensic field

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would say there are few changes needs to be done to meet the modern day requirement of industrial growth. We are lagging in some domain and still following the old and outdated pattern .The way of practicals and coursework needs to be updated

Course Curriculum Overview:

Till class 12 I don't want to study chemistry but in the university my whole perpective is changed because of my professor as they make the lessons quite easy. They not only focus upon the current part of lessons but also starts from the starting i.e they focus upon the improvement of basics. Every thing is nice but timings are not good as it takes complete day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly, I like zoology as a subject as it really gives us knowledge regarding every single life forms . The curriculum lead me to find ways to deal with organisms. Animal behaviour is a subject which needed some more improvements. Exams were continuous and leads to pressure on a difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible campus placement from the third semester. The ratio of placements is very less. Less than 25 percent of students get placed every year. The university makes very less efforts towards placement. Opt for some specialise courses/degree if you want placement.

Placement Experience:

Actually from the 2nd semester, students can apply for placements. Almost 50-70% of students were placed in this course. The highest and lowest package of salary is offered and it depends on the performance of students. The highest salary is something 20, 000 per month on the other hand the lowest salary is 35, 000 per month. And average salary offer in course is 20, 000 per month approx. There are many companies like TCS, HTC, Wipro, Flipkart and Amazon are in our course. almost 50-70% can get internships from my college. My plan after MSC is to teach in a higher college at a high level. I am also applying for a good job.
